Would it really help? Sometimes you'll want to target the left leg, because your warrior buddy targetted it. And sometimes you want to target the right leg, because left was already broken or whatever. So you would need the two original single limb targetting forms anyway.
If my goal is building wounds, then these random variables have no purpose. If my goal is to lay down a nekotai spronghai to burst vessels, then randomization can help to make sure the kick isn't stanced/parried.
Gleip2010-10-14 18:30:50
Yes, but that randomization could also be included by pushing another button combination to use a left leg target instead of a right no? I just don't see how it'd do anything for the original problem you presented. Reducing the number of kata forms needed.

Give interest to money placed in banks please
Gives us another reason to use banks.

Don't hold your breath on that one. The reason to use a bank is to protect your gold, and that's it. You're not going to get free gold from sitting around doing nothing, and we've already discussed this at length in the past (free markets, investments, etc).

Hm, something else to use it is to move yearly taxes for certain groups from one bank account to another. Or that was the case a few years back.. But at least reduce the amount of gold taxed from withdrawing the money? Is the money taxed moved to the city or commune the bank is in?
Unknown2010-10-16 11:38:59
The fees go to the city/commune, as far as I know.
You can auto-pay clan dues from a bank account, if any clans even charge dues. Would be nice to auto-pay taxes, too, I suppose, so there's an idea.

When taller beings slap small faelings they should have a chance to miss. Or show that the figure crouches down to slap the target.

A tackle should break bones too since I'm wearing 200 pounds of armor and several times your size.

Or even better, send them flying into the next room.

Give city shops a search index like aether shops have. Because I notice myself being lazy far too often and pay a little extra at an aethershop, rather than figuring out what city shop might have what I need.

It would be really cool if every city/commune had a directory located somewhere, where there would be a command that would search its shops like that! It would be especially cool in Hallifax of course, where I could imagine it as some sort of awesome screen.
Unknown2010-10-17 02:21:31
I vote no, simply because aethershops cost way, way, way more, and so they have one or two perks over the standard city/commune shops.

Please allow bards to smack a target with their instrument, giving them a brief blackout or a slight stun
With fury, bob smacks the outside of your head with his viola, stunning you in shock
Or shove the instrument neck first into a person's mouth, choking them.
Bob thrusts the neck of the viola into your mouth, choking you.
or if we could have bigger instruments like cello's which would act like a shield
Bob quickly hides behind the oversized instrument, out of harms reach
Or instead of playing with bows, use fingers to thump instruments to let out resonance blasts:
Putting the bow behind his back, Bob thumps across the viola - blasts resonating outwards with each trickle of fingers
Or you can pull the strings of the instrument around a persons neck, choking them
Bob pulls the strings of his violin around your neck, choking you.
*daydream*

Well, if city shops had a directory they'd become more wanted, so cities/communes could charge more for them, so cities/communes would have higher income and basically everyone would win ... except the poorer shop keepers. I feel user friendliness > perks. And aethershops still have the advantage that they will always be yours and you can attach extra rooms to it, where as a rented shop isn't really yours.
Unknown2010-10-17 14:14:12
You also can't run through aethershops in a snap to check "wares (blah)" looking for things you need. City/commune shops are in a relatively small locale with easy access.
Plus, you can always use the market channel and posted ads to sell/buy things more easily.
Hey, I have a simple idea: let us see the proprietor of a shop even when refused service, so we know who doesn't like us.
