Because I am obnoxious and persistent, I am often referencing my newsposts. I'd love it if I could simply NSUM GLOM(doring) and have a list of the 15 or so most recent posts.

Yes, NSTAT to see what post we're at and then NSUM GLOMDORING (#) is one and a half steps too many. :|

o You can now use the syntax NSUM
without a post number to
see just the most recent 20 posts summarized.

Remove the word 'and' at the beginning of descs.

I wholeheartedly agree with Sojiro. Also, as much as I like the adjective before the race in descriptions, having 'ordinary human' as the first line of your description really kills the whole description. (unless your description is that of an ordinary human, of course)

Not even Lord Elostian?

Why do you think he is incorporeal?

This sounds like a new project for Hallifax. Understand the weather!

Would be rather fitting, for the Aeromancers in particular! suspicious.gif

I suppose I understand why only org members can use their nexus to dispose of things now, but would it be a horrible idea to allow non-org members to put essence into nexuses for the purposes of donations/fines/whatever?

Hope this hasn't been suggested before.

We have a ton of really fancy weather monitoring equipment in our guildhall.

...which everyone ignores because all of the hard scientists moved to the Institute and then we got told "oh hey you're actually philosophers, how about that, pretty cool huh". What I wouldn't give for a little meteorologist Aeromancer!

Maybe one day I'll come, I do find the Aero's really interesting, but I just don't have time right now I don't think. sad.gif

You could always start an interdisciplinary research project, you know. I bet there are people in the Institute who would love nothing more than to work on a team research thing like that. Happens in real science all the time, after all.

That said, if you want to try to investigate the actual in-game weather, that might not be the best subject. You will inevitably run into limitations in the code that can't be explained without endangering suspension of disbelief, because it's crappy code not worth rewriting.

We even have a weather monitoring system in the guild hall. It would be cool to have something to do with it.

Used to be we could shove things like essence into other nexii that aren't our own, but this then also enabled us to put in essence globes in the long passed days of the hai'Gloh era. We got to convert Supernals and Demon Lords and set them on each other by shoving the essence globes into the nexii, but then that got nerfed after we did it too much.

Then the supermob buffing happened months after and that just killed that avenue completely anyway, sooo...go go being able to put essence into other nexii again?
Lendren2010-11-16 22:53:02
No supermob buffing is forever, I suspect. We've had so many of them over the years.

But simply being able to put just organizational essence into another nexus, not mobs, not globes, not any quest thing, but just snuggleessence in Seren and emoessence in Glom etc., that wouldn't cause any problems. I suspect it's just too much trouble to code the exception.

The Gnafia should have an aetherspace Death Star.

Bookbinders need to make its comprehensive user's manual for every member of the crew, and several spare copies for the library/lounge, in that case. 50 pages of technical bliss.
