Back to Common Grounds.

Not only that, but it would be an enormous waste of coding time, and we'd have to endure endless speculation and "great ideas" about what every org's custom class should be.

I REALLY do not want to see anything other then the classic three in the new cities. Ever.

Grandmother Scorpion taught dracnari and lucidians an early form of martial art.

And taught the illithoids Nekotai. =o

What you want to see and what will happen are going to be radically different things. If nothing else, when the population can support it, it'd be generally -unfair- to not expand the archetype diversity of a city. Also, to respond to that:

Could be taken about the same way. :/

Perhaps, but Estarra has given us a flat "Proabably not" on there being new guilds in the new cities anyway. We've already integrated the Kephera and Illithoids without monks, so introducing them would be somewhat awkward now, eh?

Not really - the Illithoid and Kephera could simply be biding their time, waiting for when the cities seem 'ready' to receive the martial arts. They KNOW the two new cities are weaker than the others, at least from the standpoint of certain categories. Why bother contracting them to help in the Undervault when they'll never honestly be able to do anything yet - while also handing over the payment in exchange? I speculate that Estarra has said 'probably not' due to projected population, not due to anything to do with dislike for the Monks and Bards. tongue.gif

Or perhaps the proabably not is due to the variety of people who dislike bards and monks. Give them a place to themselves where they won't have to worry about the other two as much.

To be honest, I'd be happy if we given more information about how we can pick our next guild in the first place.

I'm certain that if it were mages and guardians that came out later, people would be complaining about those too. I hate it when people cannot give anything constructive and just constantly complain about how they're better off without bards and monks. Both of those probably brought and kept more players to the game which buy credits which keep it running.

Also, when can we hear about what comes next?

Everyone on the forums bitches about everything. For instance, I bitch about the people who bitch.

Full freaking circle, man.

So much better with the rants board, then the bitching was confined like a disease.

Quit being silly. cool.gif I sincerely doubt Estarra's question over the fourth and fifth guilds have anything to do with how much you like or dislike them.

They are as much a part of Lusternia as any other archetype.

I'm sure that's why the monk guilds regularly complain about feeling "tacked on". tongue.gif

In all my time in the monk guilds, it was only the other guilds that other complained about that. tongue.gif

And taught Tzaraziko, too. So maybe both cities will get something related to Mrs. Trundle Grandmother Scorpion.

I thought Tzaraziko was the one that taught Scorpion and took care of her.

I agree, druids should get psionics. Mages can have ecology.
