Tyngh vs. Urazial

by Kante

Back to Combat Logs.

Basically, the fight took place in Faethorn as Tyngh was cutting down saplings and Urazial decided to step in. Tyngh ran away, had a verbal spat with Urazial, then came back.

What I'm looking for is advice on what to do next time.

My list of things I did wrong so far:
  • Attacking an Ascendant when I'm only a level 80 human warrior
  • Having only seven power and no reserves
  • Not using poisons on my hammers
  • Not having the appropriate enchantments

Anything else? Log is here.

You never cured epilepsy, for one. You were only sipping, not sparkle/scroll.

I don't have any scrolls or sparkleberry.

As for epilepsy, I had herb bane on me, and I don't have the High Magic equivalent of Green yet.

Then get scrolls/sparkle.

You never even tried to eat kombu; you were using chervil instead. And focus mind can cure epilepsy, although it'll be expensive against a harbinger with double mana loss.

All right. And yeah, that's simply how Treant's set up, I guess. I don't know a damn thing about how to modify it. I just kind of let it do its job and hope it does it well enough.

The priorities can be modified, but they're set up for me by default. The system does assume sparkleberry and healing scroll are there to help, so you'll notice the difference without them pretty readily.

A love potion might've helped some, too.

You only had 7 power.. why would you fight with only 7 power?

Edit: And you were using crush way too much, raze hit.. hit hit.. hit hit.. raze hit. Crush to the head, not the gut.

censor.gif and giggles. And because as CR1 in Mag with essence worth only 1 power per, it's almost impossible to get more than 15% reserves if you actively do anything.

Edit: this is a lie. I could get more power if I killed more power-producing censor.gif . I'm just lazy. Working on that power thing right now, though.

I use Crush a lot because of wounding and it going through stance. The thing is, I'm a level 80 unartied warrior. If I just use raze strikes, I will not accumulate wounding. Hell, even with crushes I have trouble.

But I'm learning...slowly.

Edit: On second thought, I suppose you're right. I just have to mix up where I'm hitting, and hit as often as possible.
