Learn to read. It's just a thought excersize.

Unlikely isn't the term you're looking for though. It's "If you feel like a second loan"

Funny you should mention Black Lotuses. =D

I went digging around for my cards, and now I'm thinking who needs income tax returns? I should have thought to do this sooner. I wonder if my baseball cards from the 80's are worth anything...

I still have my Mox Sapphire (and Jet and Pearl, acquired last week).. I've got some selling to do, eventually. sad.gif

Closest I come, unfortunately, is a few Mox Diamonds. sad.gif

This thread makes me wish I still had my sliver, old school burn, and land destro decks sad.gif

Alotta turn 1 kills can be made with black lotus; they're a bit more common than people realize, I think, it's just that usually they're the reprinted ones. In the previous set, Wizards filled some of the packs with old power 9 and such, I remember one person at a store here cracking a lotus even :\\

Ran a Barren Glory deck for a bit that used Ignorant Bliss (abusing old EoT rules, think they removed those recently?) and Gargadon. Woo.

Monored control deck I ran last was straight Ponza. WOO.

You know your deck is getting bloated when you have to buy more card protecters, after already having bought a triple pack. blackeye.gif

I trim down tonight, BIG time. Think of all the lands I'll save.
Rodngar2010-02-07 01:29:29
60 cards or 300 cards. Only deck sizes I make.
Ikkan2010-02-07 04:28:06
We tried that old 500-card Domains format once...oh..god...

Battle of Wits, as solid a deck as it was, was just too boring. I never enjoyed it, at least. The winning moment wasn't... well, complex and unnecessary enough. sad.gif
Rodngar2010-02-08 03:16:20
Invincible Hymn in a Battle of Wits deck makes it plenty obnoxious, complicated, time-consuming, unnecessary, and rage-inspiring. smile.gif

Just saw some of the variants of all in red being played...

I've never felt more nostalgic of suicide black xD!

I came up with an odd deck the other day. Red deck, specifically designed to counter a blue deck. Using Pyroblasts, Red Elemental Blasts, Molten Influence and Burnout and other "blue style" reds, along with standard red-creatures.

Who would see THAT coming?

i've played basic mtg with a friend who introduced it to me, but unfortunately I'm not up to buying cards and I don't know what he did with his. I don't think we even played it correctly, but I somehow won. It's a pretty fun game and I would love to get into it some more. I had to skip all the pages between this and the first one. When reading your post i get confused and I have no idea what you're talking about. blink.gif crazy.gif err.gif

I don't play honest-to-god tournaments Xavius, remember? Our sideboards are whatever we happen to have on us at the time.

If you have them at all you don't need to build a whole deck that's useless against everything else, surely, heh.

It would be just for fun. I already have three decks that are useful against various things. A Green/White Phantom deck. Also has quite a few prevention cards in it. A blue-150 card-monstrosity that can't decide if it's an artifact deck, or standard counterspell deck(This one will be hemmoraging into two decks soon), and a Small red-white burn deck.

EDIT: I find it funny that there was a FML complaining about M:TG, and it got more "You deserved it"s then "Yeah, your life sucks"s

Curse of Merit Lage and Boil are particularily nasty too!
