Edit: Also, for the Tahtetso insta, you need to be prone. Maybe you could focus stancing your legs so she can't attack there to get/keep you prone?

Keep your regen curing on priority here and stance/parry legs please.. the gah'th'nub'nub strike is slightly annoying. When you see chestpain leave the room for 1-2s until you can catch up on balances.

I went to Acapulco for the weekend, but I'm back now.

Faenae did the insta exactly how I did it: Mangle/prone (parry/stance won't do anything from this point on) and keep them down until they die. When a faeling with a fast tahto does that, they can shatter ankle (after one move to gain momentum) before the regen/mending/standing go through, so you still cannot stand up. And then you have a bit more than 4 seconds for chestpain and then the insta, which is sufficient if you're fast enough. Only thing saving you here is gedulah or a lucky allheale. Balance recovery around or less than 2 seconds means that momentum 5 is automatic win against anyone who can't passively hinder, since you can just repeat regen affliction - gain momentum - regen affliction - gain momentum etc. ad infinitum once your target is prone.

This. A lot of people have told me this in the past, and it rings true (albeit frustrating to figure out in the beginning). However, you're at a slight disadvantage due to being Pureblade. PB doesn't have much hindering or crowd control. It'd probably be in your best interest to get a web enchant to help supplement your current attacks.

Not sure it's possible for a warrior to keep a monk's momentum down like that.

You can if you know what you're doing, especially as a Bonecrusher. Wind and knockdown are godsends. Ecto also helped a lot when I could stick it (never).

BC is known for its low wound hinders, though. It's a different story with the other three.

Once upon a time, momentum went down by one every time a monk was proned. I was a little disappointed to see that go away. For fast balance monks, I do find myself spending more time slowing them down than I should have to, really, and I at least have the option to do so. Most warrior specs can't do that on command from zero wounds.

This I know, hence my post above about him being disadvantaged by being a PB.

So unless your a bonecrusher, your a warrior is screwed against a good monk?

Use puissance/power attack combo. I can get a robe-wearer heavy in one combo and PB has the wounding bonus. He could probably get close to one-hit tendon if not doing it.

If he cured mangle and ankle right away he'd be standing and could have walked out, and could have applied for chestpain immediately. He died because he didn't regen fast enough.

And no, Tarion; you just have to actively think about survival and hindering against some monks.

How do you cure mangle before shattered ankle hits/cure shattered ankle before you die if regeneration curing takes 4 seconds (plus latency, plus possible stupidity messups, plus a moment to stand up) and the monk gets in the shatteredankle/killing move within those four seconds (which would require a balance recovery time of around 2 seconds)?

If you get into that situation, powercure is probably your best option. But I'm not even sure that Krin would have been stuck that way if he had applied regeneration properly.
