Same here, but food and water does seem to be a safer option otherwise. What happens when we run out?
Eldanien2010-03-01 04:54:03
Stargate has nanite Replicators. Star Trek has food replicators. Not the same thing. I'm voting food and water.

It seems to me that running out of food and water isn't such a terrible thing. Remaining out of food and water is a problem.

Besides, I'm all out of bubblegum.
Unknown2010-03-01 06:55:48
Food and water, sure.

Sorry for being inactive, was away from internet over the weekend.

This is a good point.

Although, these replicators will last longer than us humans without food or water, I would guess. So, if we go for the power, we had better get it.

With that in mind, I'm gonna go ahead and say that we should get the food/water.

With a majority of the group concerned with finding food and water, everyone heads down the hallway, checking all the open rooms.
One person halts before an open storage room stacked with crates. "Who wants to open these up?" Everyone pitches in, forming an assembly line to bring the black crates out.
Crate after crate is opened until someone tentatively says, "... Food?"
The group peers into a crate packed with clear plastic bags containing grey powder and bars wrapped in silver packaging. After being unwrapped, the dull-colored bars are revealed to be rather taffy-like as someone tries to pull it apart.
"Why isn't anything labeled?" "Smells like food."
"Who wants to taste-test?"

((Next lynch in the story is whoever is nominated taste-tester.))

Rarararara.
Ileein2010-03-03 00:50:09
But we don't know who to lynch! D:
Tekora2010-03-03 00:54:36
What about lynching the most inactive person? Or at least waking them up and squeezing them for information?
Tekora2010-03-03 01:02:16
Ok, so thisismydisplayname is the current lowest poster, with a whopping total of TWO posts.

I say we look at that neon sign that says Siam is begging to join Riluna in stasis.

His contributions so far, or lack thereof, are unhelpful at best and suspicious at worst. Let's rake him on the coals.

Vote: thisismydisplayname

He's not playing.
Unknown2010-03-03 01:03:15
Yeah. I'm assuming that's a joke, or just to spur people to post?
Tekora2010-03-03 01:08:18
Meh, sorry. Saw his name on the post count on page 7 and thought he was playing. Hold on while I figure out the lowest poster who IS playing.

Unvote: thisismydisplayname, just in case.
Unknown2010-03-03 01:24:15
In truth, this whole game is pretty inactive. The two dead people remain amongst the highest in post number, and just a few are ahead of the mod besides... which is usually not a good sign.

Not that I'm any less guilty than anyone else, but I thought it would be worth mention!
Tekora2010-03-03 01:35:58
Ok, so, after closer observation, Gleip and Xavius are the current lurker champions with 9 posts each, so let's have them both speak up. And since I can't vote for both of them...

FoS: Gleip

FoS: Xavius
Unknown2010-03-03 01:42:28
Hmm. Xavius usually is more on the offensive in general, town or otherwise, no? Or am I not recalling properly from previous history?
Mirami2010-03-03 01:44:51
Our problem, is that we have nothing to go on. Although... I may have something. Gotta go back and find it, though.

Yeah, but he's also not been around very often, much like myself.

Alright, mod. What does the room around us look like?

If we're on a ship, power = food and water.

I'm gonna go ahead and bring this back up, since it's all we seem to have to go on.

Only a replicator would not need food or water. I don't see how power = food and water for me, but I could see how if you're a robot (or made of many robots) it could be 'food and water'. I suspect he is a replicator.

That having been said, I'm gonna VOTE: Xavius for now, and see what he has to say.
Tekora2010-03-03 02:08:28
If we're going after Xavius over Gleip, then I'll throw my weight in too.

Vote: Xavius
Shaddus2010-03-03 02:13:20
I think what Xavius meant is that whoever has the food and water, has power. I don't think he meant power really equals food and water.

Tekora, you're awful close to Mirami there. Any reason why you're so quick to jump on the bandwagon?
