Shaddus (6): Tekora, Gleip, Romertien, Solanis, Rika, Shaddus

---

"You know, you have some explaining to do."
Shaddus grins uneasily. "My shield should protect me."
"He's dodging the question!"
Rather than dodge, Shaddus dives through the shimmering wall of the force field, managing to hit the button before he begins disintegrating.
"See you next game," he rasps.

QUOTE ("Shaddus's Role")
You are Reese, the gynoid that originally brought Replicators--self-replicating nanites--to the Milky Way. You were restored by your human-form descendants and brought to the Pegasus Galaxy. Some freak accident has dropped you off in this alternate reality.

During the night, you may talk to your fellow Replicators.

If the group chooses you as the killer for the night, send a PM to TERMINATE (target). If a simple termination is not enough, you may send a PM to use your one-shot ability to OVERWHELM (target) instead, getting past any protections they might have.

You win with the Replicators.

As the force field powers down, so do the lights. ((It is now Night Phase Three. Send in your choices please.))

Thank you and good night.

Suddenly, someone screams in pain.
Panicked footsteps can be heard in every direction.
A burst of orange-red zips across the corridor.
"Watch it!"
"Don't hit the button again!"

The lights flicker before properly powering up. No one reactivated the force field in the confusion, but a particularly bloody Rika lies on the ground.

QUOTE ("Rika's role")
You are Abraham Ellis, Colonel in the United States Air Force and commander of the Deep Space Carrier U.S.S. Apollo.

Unfortunately you do not seem to be on the Apollo and were transported to your current location without a weapon.

You win with the Humans.

((It is now Day Phase 4. It will take 5/8 to lynch.))
Mirami2010-03-21 15:42:03
Hmmm. Somebody screamed, THEN the gun went off?
Mirami2010-03-21 15:42:39
Oh, also, I'm assuming that that orange-red is Eldanien?.

Then Vendetta better get to Assessin'.

As for Rika, let's get the confirmation from Eldanien on whether he killed her last night before going any further, because I have a plan.
Eldanien2010-03-22 04:29:50
Confirmed, it was me. I'm starting to doubt that Mafia is for me. Just when I think I have a good read on people... meh.

So that I don't single-handedly ruin the game, I'm going to bow out and have Xikue pull in a lurker to replace me.
Unknown2010-03-22 04:50:52
Uh huh.

ASSESS THE SITUATION

And what's the plan?
Unknown2010-03-22 14:42:27
"... the plan," mumbles Vendetta. He clears his throat. "Force fields are usually to protect sensitive areas, so there's a good chance we're headed towards the power source. Let's keep going, people."
So the group keeps going. And confronts another force field.
"@#$%!"

((You know what the next lynch is.))

So far, we've offed Xavius the SK and Arix and Shaddus, two of the Replicators. We know from Xavius' role that there's another group, the Lost Boys, but we don't know if they're another Mafia, a Cult, or a Mason group.

Now, getting into Stargate lore again, there are three major enemy groups between SG1 and SGA; the Goa'uld system lords, the Asuran/Replicators, and the Wraiths. If the Replicators are here, there's a good chance that the Wraiths and Goa'uld are making an appearance as well. So, looking at the information we've been given, we know that there are at least 2 Lost Boys, and possibly 1 Wraith and 1 Goa'uld. Maybe more.

With Eldanien's kill being the only one that went through last night, that means that either the Mafia didn't make a kill attempt last night, or our Blocker got a hold of the right person. If it's the former, then a good idea is to look at inactive people again, because between the long night and the lack of a mafia kill, that tells me that whoever was supposed to make the night kill last night missed their cue. If it's the latter, then I want our blocker to keep themselves hidden, as they've been doing a wonderful job.

So yeah, that's my new plan. Same as the old plan. Poke the inactives.
Tekora2010-03-24 03:49:28
...really guys, do I have to do everything around here?

Xikue, postcount please.
Tekora2010-03-24 04:05:22
Ok, never mind the postcount.

Vote: Silferras

I'll admit that this is an unfortunate way of going about this, but the evidence I've found matches up fairly well to my theory that the scum went idle and missed their cue for a night kill, resulting in the long Night 3.

QUOTE (Silferras @ Mar 16 2010, 09:32 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hi, just popping in to say that I'm not dead, had a couple of rough days with more work than expected so I hadn't had time to check in. Are we piling on Shaddus now?

This was Silferras's last post, a little over a week ago. Not only is it her last post in this game, it's also the last post she's made anywhere on the forums since then, which signifies an extended absence from the forums and explains how the scum could have missed their cue for a night kill and why we didn't have a Mafia kill last night.

This why I am fairly certain that Silferras is scum and should be taken out.

But there's one other thing. This being Day 4, and going back to Arix's role as Innocent Mafia, this must mean that we have an investigator among us who's been snooping around and gathering information all three nights. If this is the case, and I hope it is, then they should have a good amount of information to share with us, and I strongly urge them to do so, especially if they can tell us whether lynching Silferras is a mistake.
Unknown2010-03-24 06:23:35
I have been sort of around, I just don't post during night and have been caught up in project presentation preparations for the past few days (deadline season, ugh).. Plus there doesn't seem to be any progress so far in terms of analysis. Has Eldanien been replaced? He's confirmed that he's killed Rika, in which case our roleblocker might want to look more closely into his or her target last night, given that there was no scum kill. Either that, or we have our doctor to thank.

Additionally, it's probably not a good idea to assume that the scum did miss their cue last night. We do have replacements in the wings, and anyone as crucial as the last one or two scum (assuming there's no cult) would have been replaced before that happened.

That said, I'll claim now, since I have nothing worth hiding. I'm Jay Felger as previously mentioned during the nameclaim, and I'm a vanilla townie. Apparently I have a model of the Stargate, but it doesn't do anything as far as I know - so unless it holds up nights without my knowing, last night certainly wasn't my fault!
Unknown2010-03-24 06:27:39
Oh, and before I forget again, do we have concrete evidence that Ileein is a townie aside from the skill he used? I'm referring to this post, which I didn't like at the time and still don't quite like now that I've taken another look at it in context.

QUOTE (Ileein)
Oh dear I'm on my own Unvote. I don't hate you that much, Tekora, I promise. sad.gif

Unvoting without provocation because he's on his own, but not committing to Shaddus, who came up scum. Hmm. Anyone else getting weird vibes?
Unknown2010-03-24 06:37:43
I haven't liked Ileein at all. Reasons for voting people. It's been more than one time. Only thing that leans in his favour is his tablet thing.
