Ileein rushes to the door, already tapping away on his tablet with one hand as he reaches to remove the cover of the keypad.
A set of translucent cards in blink on and off in their slots. He plugs in his tablet into what seems to be a compatible port. "Uh. Uhm." Tap-tap-tap. Ileein reaches for the second card and tugs it free.
He pauses, as if expecting something to blow up or fry him.
Tap-tap-tap. The doors open to a dimly lit corridor as the battery icon flickers out.

Just about every team that goes through the Stargate is staffed by purely military personnel, and even the scientists have some form of arms training as mandated by the brass at the base.
Personally? I haven't got anything but the clothes on my back. But if we do have someone with the usual combat training, now's a perfect time.
