The play is similar, and the hero pool is expanded.. however, Sand Wraith's power versus Spectre's power is an awkward comparison due to the new heroes/changes to existing heroes, etc. All in all, I'd advise learning new heroes, since Sand Wraith won't always be an option - and really, won't be an AMAZING option sometimes even in that event. He's an amazing carry and I like to think I do better than most with him - I loved Spectre in dota too, so I have a feeling you and I will get along.

I was playing around to learn item layout and Sand Wraith is a lot easier to cliffwalk with than Spectre. Huzzah for having to press less keys. A few more imports than I noticed last time I tried this game, so should be fun. Do think I'll enjoy the Dazzle import, never liked Shallow Grave much (mainly cause every single out of your four expected you to save them).

@Synl: Demented Shaman is actually pretty overpowered in HoN for a variety of reasons.

Entangle is so yum. And ds has such a nice attack animation too.
