Am I the only one who plays?

I need more people to play with since a friend and I are tired of going 2v5 with 3 people helping us that are honestly incredibly uncooperative. Those of you who played DotA will find this a pretty refreshing version of the same type of game. I have 7 beta invites, my friend has 3.. so, anybody interested?

HoN really is an excellent game.

HON is an adequate game! I play a bit with Shamarah and Silferras and very occasionally Balizar. Currently stuck in the 1700+ PSR range.

EDIT: Shiri/Nitorin are my smurf accounts, the real one is Akyuu. Using Nitorin for you guys now.

I should go install and play it someday. Maybe in a couple weeks after I move.

My smurf/dummy account is Arlith, with the PSR as low as it is due to a lot of hilarious AP antics across me and some old friends - combos of 5 heroes that work only when planets align and we've set aside all common sense. I'll be using that to play with you guys. :3

Demented Shaman, Nymphora, Jeraziah, Voodoo Jester, Accursed can be HILARIOUS if the other team is bad enough to let you push them down in 15 minutes.

I saw a hilarious strategy almost beat 5 a couple days ago...slither demented wildsoul (!) tempest WARRRBEAST (!!!). Didn't work but they did get a rax.

Top tower down to Dy in just over 2 minutes. It's nice to see a top tier team do something different.

I need to watch one of the 5 puzzle box strats before they nerfed it.

I don't think there actually were any, since pubs don't use puzzlebox and tournaments had it as an artificial ban anyway.

Aww, way to ruin my fun. And I use puzzlebox sometimes. Pub nighthounds never really know why they keep dying.

Not entirely convinced! He's harder to shut down by ganking than noobhound, or a lot of other carries for that matter, because of the free (counter)wards and movespeed, and he can do a lot of nonsense with his scaling crit and IAS. I think you need to be even turtlier than usual though.

I only ever use puzzlebox on succubus and hellbringer, but I tend to start dying a lot around midgame on succubus after a successful ganking phase because I never remember to mez myself when some idiot jumps on me and my teammates keep failing and attacking whoever I mezzed instead.

He needs way too much farm to be worthwhile, and the only teams that have been successful with him could pull off genocide 4v5.

In a pub, I love a good scout. Sadly, I've seen that like one time, and he wasn't on our team.

It's incredibly easy to get farm past runed axe point though, so he's only dead weight for a little while early game. So you load up on babysitters and counterpushers. Seems to work ok. Idk, we'll have to see if he comes up again (he got a ban yesterday...)
