Monk Race Distribution

As GA of the Nekotai, I have some special guild priv to display guild members (including races and levels). Thought I would throw the races into a bar graph. The results weren't shocking: illithoid was top choice (nearly 1 in 2 nekotai are illithoid), with aslaran/lobosigaru tied for second. I'd am curious to know the racial distributions of the other monk guilds.

I don't have specific details for the Tahtetso, but they're pretty much all Loboshigaru, with some Aslaran and Kephera, and the random Krokani and Faeling in there as well.

I was vaguely aware that kephera were less popular here, probably because of their gimpy STR and DEX for females, but elfen being more popular is kind of weird.

At a glance, many races are not even in the choices.

I have a Krokani nekotai. It's actually pretty decent. Not quite as good as lobo, mostly because of the lack of health regeneration, but they're not a bad choice at all.

I've just been assuming all the denizens of Rockholm and Southgard are PCs who RP being NPCs really, really well. It's better than thinking we have no dwarves at all. tongue.gif

I do believe I am the only Dracnari monk in the Ninjakari. Wigberht used to be a ninja till he left for pyromancers. I always found it fun to RP being the out of place 8 ft' tall monk. Ill post a graph of the racial distribution later.

Boredom a couple of nights ago made me make a bar graph of the races of all characters in existence. Of upwards of 4000 characters, orclach, taurian, krokani, and dwarf all have under 100.

Great, now I'm pretty much bound to make a comeback character as one of those races.

Did a bit of checking up on things, to make sure my memory still worked right.
It does.

And I'm doing it.

Orclach Pureblade Paladin. (Purely for S&G, as I don't intend to put any credits into this guy and probably won't go much past 50.)
