I'm not particularly surprised by my result, though I goofed up twice (I hit ; instead of l - annoying! Had to backspace!! Grrr!)
Edit: Jesus, I got through that but I can't write a sentence properly.
And as a note, I got my first computer when I was seven. Windows 3.1! Man! Old School! I learned to type on my own, and that 106 wpm was, what my keyboarding teacher called, 'barbarically assaulting the keyboard'. Or, hunt and pecking. Yea, I have the keyboard memorized. Which I'm sure most people do. Muaha. (Good news is, I'm far less likely to develop carpal tunnel, due to having started at a very young age. Muahaha!)

My dad always had computers.. I was typing at age 4. as a result my actual handwriting is total crap. Pre-windows days, using dos 3.0 and xtree gold. My first computer that was mine was a kaypro luggable. man that 3 inch built in green monochrome screen was so awesome seeming back then. And it had a 10meg harddrive.. .I never thought I'd fill it up.

497 points, so you achieved position 928 of 445605 on the ranking list
You type 642 characters per minute
You have 119 correct words and
you have 0 wrong words
MUDs certainly sped me up. Plus I partly bankrolled law school by doing freelance typing through various agencies - and the faster I went the better hourly rate I was making.

Oh, yeah?
Age four, 1986, Windows 1.0... and Janitor Joe.
That game was (is?) evil... you can't even imagine. I think it's safe to say that Janitor Joe is responsible for all of my later misfortunes in life.

Winnar?
EDIT: Also, my wrong word was 'cause I didn't capitalize the "A" in "America". Why throw country names in there? That totally threw me.

I tried it again, and I found my results have greatly improved since last time. I find that thinking about the word right before I type it increases my speed dramatically:
You type 429 characters per minute
You have 80 correct words and
you have 5 wrong words
I type 80 words per minute
NICE!! This is the fastest that I've ever typed... EVER! GO ME!!
