Basically, the problem that we've been finding is that there's no solid way to Bardoon somebody with what's available to glamourists. The problem is that with the stun length on freeze and the given length of earache, they can invariably eat earwort again before Bardoon goes through. There's no way to hinder basic herb usage, all the shackles and transfixes and freezes in the world don't keep them from eating earwort in time.

I had suggested a combination of sleepcloud, beast spit morphite, and mesmerize to sleeplock the target before Bardoon, but the SS don't have a way of turning metawake off, which kills that strategy.

None of the bard guilds have a reliable way of deathsonging in 1v1.

Remember to use hypnoticgaze for an extra affliction.

I could see the Cacophony having a way, given the fact that they have the ability to dominate metawake off, you could theoretically use morphite, sleepcloud, mesmerize, and dominate to sleeplock to get a Threnody off, but that's about it, I think. Cantors might get lucky and mask it under PrincessFarewell, but that doesn't really qualify as 'reliable.'

Doesn't beast spit use beast balance..?

When all else fails, we could always look into mass producing Xiels...
