Dugan has now replaced Romertien as Kogasa.
Dugan2010-04-18 11:11:29
Good Morning.
Just got assigned the role, fixing to head out to work and will post when I get back home. Hopefully can get life flowing back in. Seems like the same three/four people doing all the talking. Be back on later today.

Tekora sure is getting excitable.

Isn't not mentioning the fact that you immediately hammered Gleip before he could use his ability a bit suspect?

Sure, about as suspect as actually calling for someone to hammer him before he could use his ability.

So yeah, I sort of skimmed my role, and as a result, misread it. Anyhoo.
Who's gonna hammer Gleip? Or are we waiting for him to vig someone? Wooohoppdoeedoopdeeoop

You should really try to remember what you posted a week ago before trying to draw heat to someone for something you supported at the time. Hurf durf.

Vote: Tekora
You're far more aggressive than usual, and more so, far more skittish. You're grasping at straws, like when you accused Gleip for OMGUSing you, to the degree that you appear desperate. You hammered Gleip, giving him no opportunity to defend himself, and you've aggroed the whole town to the degree that two people felt it vindicated to use their powers to stop you from going loco. You are a threath. And the most likely SKer of em all from what I can see.
And to the rest of you, here's some food for thought for Bali. If he's scum, why did they eliminate our Tracker first? If Bali is scum, then the scum-team (not the SKer) would be essentially immune to tracking, since Bali would be able to Spin up any tracking attempt made on his partner.

You're really going to ignore Balizar's hypocrisy and still try to say that I'm grasping at straws? God, you're thick. Maybe one of these games, you'll finally learn that Aggro != Scum.

My guess would be: spinning on the same person every night just to deter a tracker means the other scum can't use their night ability, which might be more beneficial to their cause. Bali can then take the role of executing the nightkill while his partner can do something more constructive than a spin. Bali also doesn't have to risk accidentally absorbing an arsonist hit or whatever.

Vote Bali.
After reading and going back over what the same people have said, I can't get behind a Tekora train. He is acting much like his old self. Same with Arix (the you must be new here comment, that was good). I do have to say I find Shiri though not to be like his old self. He normally acts like a bloodhound and leading the charges and for the most part on this set up, he isn't atm.

I am also curious as to why Saran, Siam, Shulamit and Eldanien have not come forth with any votes or discussion. Everyone else has thrown votes around, defending or assisting those that have said things .... I want to hear what some of your thoughts are.
Dugan2010-04-19 15:55:47
Triple post, my bad ... still working on my first cup of coffee ... scratch Siam off the above list.
Eldanien2010-04-19 18:49:41
I'm just waiting until something solidifies in my mind. I lean towards voting Bali, but I'm not yet convinced.

Yes, but if Bali had spun around his scum partner last night, then Sylphas was a "wasted kill", because Sylphas would be unable to track Siam, and thus his result wouldn't be damning whatsoever. But the Watcher would still be able to see if Siam targetted anyone, which would automatically condemn him.
If Bali is scum and Siam ain't, he'd have no reason to spin around Siam, because of what we've seen today, coupled with the fact that why would a scum-sidekick ever want to not Spin his partner, except to appear innocent? Yes there's a chance that Bali was the killer tonight, but it was still our tracker that got eliminated, and having Bali as scum is the best defense scum can get (barring Sylphas himself being scum, but we already know that ain't it) against tracking.
Summary. Killing Sylphas does not mix well with Bali being scum. The scum team would have far better targets.
Also, the huge difference between Tekora and Bali is that Bali did not hammer Gleip. You don't hammer people without giving them a chance to defend themselves. It's poor form, poor for game-health and last time it was done was by the scum second-in-command in the last Touhou mafia. Tekora is aggressive, it's his style. Does not change the fact that the nature of his aggression is different this time around.

It's depressing that Gleip still has more posts than several players.
Unknown2010-04-20 10:59:37
Yeah. Pokepoke. Gleip's all raring to fill up the next replacement spot, but I've already gone through so many I would prefer if people just spoke up!
Shulamit2010-04-20 11:08:34
Okie...only reason I don't talk is cause I'm not sure what to say. Since it does seem talking for some reason means your mafia. Or at least, accused of it? But then again, if one doesn't talk...
I also don't wish to post when I have nothing to add to the discussion.
While Tekora does seem, uh...hyper? he doesn't seem worse than what I was reading last game. So I'd really rather not go all evil on him, just...block deathy skills. Which is truly the only reason why I blocked him, sorry Tekora. Death skills scare me.
I don't have work till late tommorrow, I'm sure I'll find something more constructive to post then

We totally had this going on a while last game too. Don't worry, it'll pick up.
Yawn.

Kiradawea used Lawyerdefense.
It's SUPER EFFECTIVE!
Touhou game fainted.
(Yes I'm bored... can I take over someone now?)

I was thinking of a Romertien/Shiri team-up, actually, and I was inclined to vote for Romertien. Now that Dugan's taken over Romertien, I don't think I'll be able to check for in/consistencies anymore.
Well, seeing as Tekora hammered Gleip.
VOTE: TEKORA
My vote is still bound to change depending on developments.
