Because... if there's two kills you're most likely the second? Not even counting that there'd probably be flavour differences.
You're experienced enough to know better than to second-guess the mod.
Kiradawea2010-04-04 02:16:51
I'm not. There are three possible night kills (four if you count Xavius' ability to copy you). One of those requires a set up which we can calculate. Even more so, there can only at most be two night kills on night one. Scum and you. No one else has abilities that kill directly.
And yeah, we don't know if there are different kill messages for nightkills. But you know what? We'll actually figure that out as well as the game goes on. There is no "second-guessing". It's a statement of facts. If you start vigging around, we'll know.

I'd have to agree. Gleip just voted pretty flippantly. (Not that I haven't done the same, so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.)
That said, FOS: Gleip.

Either way, it wouldn't hurt if Tekora feels like going the extra mile and just tells us so we don't need to piece it together.
Shulamit2010-04-04 03:33:34
It would seem voting without a reason is sorta bad, so yeah. That does make Gleip seem, not good.

Tell you what? I haven't really been following the whole train you have going on Gleip.
Tekora2010-04-04 05:28:25
Oh, tell you who I kill. Alright, don't mind me, it's late.
Siam2010-04-04 12:37:32
Still waiting on Gleip for his response on the random vote.
Serella2010-04-04 20:27:23
Neat, another Touhou mafia! Maybe I should check here more often than every other week or so.

Boom. Time to torch some more gods.
Also, wouldn't Kira as a serial killer be very bad? She'd have a quite high resistance to being killed by scum and vig, heck, they probably wouldn't target her at all since that can fail. Anyway.
Vote: Siam because he held up the game by not getting around to picking his character. If he's inactive, good riddance early on, and it's not like anyone else has presented themselves as odd yet.

That there is proof it wasn't a random vote. It was a vote to punish you for delaying the start of the game, which is just as good a reason as Shiri's reasoning. Think about it, even though it's painful. Every single ability is deadly in the hands of scum. Yuyuko apparently so, but think about the creative applications of say... Hina, which can protect her fellow scum from roleblocks, or umbrella-jesus, who can watch the target of her fellow scum and thus throw suspicion on anyone else who targets the victim of their nightkill. You want discussion, I'll give you discussion, but base it on coherent thought. Not random parroting.

For now I'm gonna take a stab at vote Tekora (Yuyuko). Unlike the last smalltown we had, the vig being scum here is doubly lethal because it looks like the scum can have one person use Yuyuko's power and the other person use their own power.

One of these things, is not like the other...
VOTE: Gleip
Also consider that Siam's role power is as follows:
QUOTE
Once in the game, either during the day or night, you may use your spellcard to trigger a global roleblock for the entirety of that phase. This affects everyone, preventing active powers from being used and disabling all passives.
Doesn't really seem very dangerous as a scum power, to me. Shiri's seems more dangerous (redirection).
Gleip2010-04-04 23:09:17
You wrongly assume I cared a bit about power in voting on Siam. I voted on him for not bothering to pick his own role when everyone else was waiting for him to do so. No more, no less. The idea that he might be inactive was an afterthought.
Kiradawea2010-04-05 00:28:16
Angry Gleip is Angry. Take a chill pill pal. It's just a game. Drink up and relax.
Though honestly I don't find what Gleip does very scummy. Unneccessary yeah, but voting for someone for delaying a game? Strikes me as a Gleip thing to do. Not a scum thing to do.

I just treating it like the usual "lets throw votes around like candy" phase at the start of game.
Kiradawea2010-04-05 00:50:31
Candy? Who needs candy when you have sake? Drink up girl.
Arix2010-04-05 01:23:25
All right, I'm here. Doesn't seem like much is going on though
Ileein2010-04-05 03:35:58
Understandable. It's Day One, after all.
Unknown2010-04-05 03:46:11
Something else to keep in consider: until Suwako winds up dead, I suspect we'll have some wonky voting patterns.
Kiradawea2010-04-05 12:26:56
Because of her counterkill you mean? Yeah, it'll make most people apprehensive about voting to kill off anyone, since they can be countercursed. However, that is to our advantage, because it'll also make our SK less likely to trigger her keystones. If they are triggered and take out Suwako, she'll die and lose instantly. This will give us more time to destroy them.
Also, this party is far too silent. Turn up the music. Reimu and Utsuho danmaku fight!

Aaand after explaining myself, you still haven't unvoted. You just want that vote stuck on me, don't you?
