Oh, and I always wondered why people thought starting a new character was cheaper than picking up an old one. You start with even less as a newbie and have a LONG way to go to get back to where your old character was.

Not so much cheaper... in fact, way less cheaper. But my character was involved in a lot of great stuff in her orgs and now, she's obviously not. But I've decided to stick with her anyway! Maybe I can gain it all back a bit at a time anyway!

Yeah, I know what you mean. I wanted to start an alt, rather than be a has-been on Acrune, but as I was playing the alt, I couldn't help but think about the demigod with a handful of arties and transed skills sitting there unused.

Ya that's my biggest issue with alts. I could never do them in World of Warcraft either. Why have two mediocre characters when you can have one good one.
