No. But Goochers are suspicious.gif

illithoid-print boxers:

Soft black cotton comprises the bulk of these comfortable
illithoid-print boxers. A clever hand has carefully sewn the grotesque
image of a smiling illithoid upon the fabric, the visage reproduced in a
regular pattern across both the front and back of the garment. A
stretchy waistband allows the piece to be worn snugly against the hips,
decorated by the phrase, "Home of the inner worm" stitched in bright
yellow thread and repeated around the circumference of the band.

Yes, Pectus, that was indeed my soup. I maintain that it's an example of undeath cuisine. Also of my undead delicacies range is my squirming platter of undeath, awaiting approval by the Charites.

Squirming platter of undeath
zombie 3 spectre 3 vegetable 3 fruit 1
A squirming platter of undeath sits here, wriggling agitatedly.
Examine
Wriggling animatedly, small squares of dark flesh are laid out neatly in rows basted in a faintly glowing sauce and laid out upon a generous spread of lettuce. Soft moans and sibilant whispers can be heard emanating from the platter, working in concert with the eerie glow and squirming flesh to create a darkly amusing display of undeath.
Consume
Taking great delight, you skewer a wriggling piece of flesh, enjoying the soft glow of the ectoplasm sauce. Slowly, you eat the first morsel of writhing undeath, savouring both the hapless protestations of the unfortunate piece, and the delectable and ghostly sauce. You quickly consume the remainder of the fleshy squares, and mop up the sauce with the large leaves of lettuce.
Smell
The faint smell of decay is masked by a sickly sweet combination of lemon and anguish.
Taste
You take a sliver of flesh, and allow it to rest on your palette, as you attempt to discern exactly what it tastes like. And then you realise what it is; despair.

You carefully study a forging design.
Item: Flail Type: Bludgeons Org: Public
Commodities: iron 10 wood 5 rat 1
Mortal Reviews: Allowed
IMPORTANT: The main noun MUST use one of these: FLAIL
Appearance:
an iron-filled rat flail
Dropped:
A dead rat is here, tied to a shaft of wood, creating a makeshift flail.
Examined:
A dead rat has been hollowed out and filled with multiple pellets of iron. Its tail is tied securely around a thick wooden shaft. As ridiculous a weapon as it may seem, it is certainly useful as a makeshift flail.

Rat Flail!

I would post my designs, but I only have the unsubmitted prototypes saved on my computer. If anyone wants to look them up and post them, they are as follows:

A pair of bizarre lobstrosity slippers (weavers, I think)
flamboyant robes of gold and ivory
unsettling astral great robes
elaborate gold and ivory sun mask
dazzling robes of pink and fuchsia (possibly also weavers)

EDIT: I thought this design was a bit weird:

Item: Icecream Type: Dishes Org: Spicegulch
Ingredients: milk 1 spices 2 snowball 1 sugar 1 fruit 1 grain 1
Mortal Reviews: Allowed
IMPORTANT: The main noun MUST use one of these: ICE CREAM, ICECREAM
Appearance:
a sweet and spicy vanilla icecream
Dropped:
A small dish of icecream has been dropped here, and is slowly starting to melt.
Examined:
A heaping serving of vanilla icecream has been scooped into a small
serving dish, waiting to be eaten. The creamy off-white colour of the
icecream is unevenly disturbed by several small greenish pieces of some
kind of candied substance, as well as a swirl of deep red fruit puree.
The scoops of icecream are covered in a red sauce, and a thin wafer
shaped like a cactus has been placed alongside the dish.
Consume:
Digging into the sweet dessert, you take a generous bite of the icecream,
trying to get a little bit of everything. The tart flavour of unsweetened
cactus fruit is the first thing to hit your palate, tempered somewhat by the
creamy vanilla. The deep red swirl turns out to be more cactus fruit, which has
been heavily sweetened to provide a contrast. When you bite into one of the
green pieces, the thick candy coating gives way with a crunch, filling your
mouth with an intense burst of heat from the cleverly disguised chunk of hot
pepper. Now aware of the surprise, you carefully finish the rest of the
dessert, being sure not to eat too many of the peppers without an accompanying
bite of icecream or fruit.
Smell:
The tart smell of cactus fruit and vanilla wafts faintly from this dish,
inviting you to take a big bite.
Taste:
The flavour of vanilla and cactus fruit floods your tongue as you take a tiny
nibble.

QUOTE
an elaborate gold and ivory sun mask

A gaudy golden mask has been dropped here, sparkling in the available light.

This gaudy mask has been lovingly crafted of pure gold, and is designed
to cover most of the wearer's face, leaving only the mouth and chin
uncovered. The front of the mask is fashioned to resemble a cherubic
face, with chubby cheeks and eyeholes shaped in such a way as to give a
jolly appearance. Radiating from the top of the mask are seven wavy
spires of wrought gold, designed to resemble the rays of the sun. The
back half of the mask is covered by a large piece of soft ivory-coloured
linen, embroidered in gold thread with an abstract image of a man in a
chariot. Underneath this is a wide strap of braided linen, dyed gold and
placed ideally to enable the mask to be secured to the wearer's head.
It has 32 months of usefulness left.
It weighs about 3 pounds and 0 ounce(s).
It bears the distinctive mark of Aqua Magister Syridean Dawneye, Herald of the Tides.

Arix2010-04-13 23:10:04
Yes, that's the sun mask. Are you actually wearing one?

Nah. I asked Syridean to make me one awhile ago, wore it once, then shoved it in a cabinet.

Item: Pie Type: Pastries Org: Public
Ingredients: grain 1 fruit 3
Mortal Reviews: Allowed
IMPORTANT: The main noun MUST use one of these: PIE
Appearance:
a ruined slice of crabapple pie
Dropped:
A ruined slice of crabapple pie has been discarded here.
Examined:
This pie is an absolute disaster. The crust is mottled dark brown and
black, a far cry from the normal golden brown. The pink filling that
oozes out from the sides is made from crabapple, judging by the unpeeled
halves imbedded in the goo.
Consume:
The first bite is of crust burnt to a cindery crisp, tasting more like charcoal than pastry. The filling is inconsistently cooked and sour, and the experience leaves you convinced that the pie was baked by a malicious chef.
Smell:
The pie smells of tart crabapples and burnt crust.
Taste:
Completely unsweetened crabapple goo meets your tongue. Awful!

Appearance:
a paper crown
Dropped:
A paper crown lies here, threatening to blow away.
Examined:
White wood has been thinned to clean paper, then craftily cut and folded
to form a pointed crown. Simple designs decorate the exterior in blue,
red, and yellow, mimicking gemstones. The imitation is rather frail and
cheap-looking, making the wearer look somewhat foolish.

PB&J! Vermilla, I think. But I dunno for sure.

Item: Sandwich Type: Dishes Org: Ccc
Ingredients: grain 1 fruit 4
Mortal Reviews: Allowed
IMPORTANT: The main noun MUST use one of these: SANDWICH
Appearance:
a nuts and berries sandwich
Dropped:
A simple sandwich of nuts and berries is here.
Examined:
A simple grain-bread sandwich has been filled with random berries and
nuts. Crushed first into a thick, sticky spread, these berries and nuts
have been spread generously between the bread slices.
Consume:
Sticky berries cling to your teeth as you crunch through the nuts in this sandwich.
Smell:
A slightly sweet fruit smell can be detected from this sandwich.
Taste:
A unique blend of berries provides a tangy yet sweet taste while the nuts have a more base blend flavour.

Lists-of-designs wikis never seem to get going for the simple reason that it's about a hundred times more work than you imagine, and a tenth as useful since it's out of date by the time you finish it. But Kharaen's got a package she sells that's as close as you're likely to get.

IMPORTANT: The main noun MUST use one of these: CHAMPAGNE
Appearance:
a delightful rainbow coloured champagne
Consume:
You take a sip of rainbow champagne, feeling refreshed as soon as the taste of pomegranate fills your senses. Underlying hints of strawberries intermingle delicately with the pomegranate completely masking the sting of the alcohol.
Smell:
As you smell the champagne, the scent of pomegranate hits the back of your nostrils, followed by the sweet aroma of strawberries.
Taste:
As the colourful liquid enters your mouth, the overwhelming taste of pomegranate and strawberries conceals the alcohol content.
