I am not angry about it at all. I find this thread to be a huge laugh. It was made to get the response that you have given it and for no other reason. Afterall, Trace is the one who said he didn't need to be in Gaudiguch, then the moment he was removed QQ'd, made this thread, and stated it was so people would know why he was never playing Trace again.

Current leaders not cutting it for you? Help bring in more potential candidates by voting for Lusternia.

The fact still remains that you over-reacted and forced Trace into that situation. He cursed at you. You booted him and tried to PK him in response.
Escalation much?

Ya, I know I'm giving Trace what he wanted And I'll also acknowledge that Trace had some things coming to him. But I really think you should ask yourselves whether kicking was really a lot better than something less like PKing him would have been.

Yup, dropping an f-bomb was pretty stupid.
kick-worthy? I'd rather not say. I see this thread getting locked down soon enough as it is.

Well, Trace's complete lack of tact, petulant attitude, and use of hardcore epithets created a recipe for disaster on his part.
That being said, I personally believe that leaders should exercise restraint, grace and temperance when dealing with social misfits and rabble-rousers. Trying to argue and bully an obviously disgruntled character like Trace into submission when he's clearly agitated only fuels their fire, almost never works, and did not work in this case. Catching Trace's attention, taking him aside to a private area, and speaking to him with a silver tongue would have been much more effective.
Unfortunately in social games like these, when presented with belligerence like Trace's, few powerful persons are willing to swallow their pride and/or resist the temptation to use their authority as a bludgeon.

Funny log. Looks like Trace made a big deal out of nothing, cussed, then got kicked out for not cooling his jets when told he was stepping over the line. Cool story.

Leaders with self esteem don't kick people out over the f-bomb and (entirely valid) criticisms of (mostly crappy) ministers. Not in a city with Munsia. Not in a city that goes out of its way to state that such things aren't illegal.
Still, no matter how clearly wrong Kalin is here, a forum post and ragequitting is the wrong way to go.

In keeping with tradition of our laws being simple and direct, we have
started with a system of two main laws. If people choose to use good
judgement and common sense then we will remain with them, if not then we
will be forced to look into expanding the list.
o If it harms the city or the citizens of Gaudiguch then it is illegal.
o If we are officialy at war with them or they are enemies then you are
not to associate with them.
