I am getting really angry at our current leadership as time goes on.
Even I?
Aww
Kiradawea2010-09-07 21:26:49
Noooo... I haven't been exposed to you yet.
Quick, go make a newspost, then you too can share in the disappointment.

I've made several.
I guess you are not speaking Hallifax, then?
Kiradawea2010-09-07 21:30:31
I do indeed mean Hallifax. It's just that your newspost lack that subtle punch, that gives you the urge to beat your head against a wall.

It just went from a small amount of candy and roses, to a large amount...and that last letter took me a moment to read (I'm not good with the whole, symbols writing out words thing). Why, delicious candy, why? I eats you, but you won't tell me who is sending you!
sounds either stalkerish or sweet. what did the letter say?

why, Heresiarch. Are you accusing me of being a stalker? Nariah2010-09-07 21:59:55
Why, I excel at heresy, after all.
Kind of losing the point here but it fits!

Besides, that time I snuck into your manse to purloin a pillowcase to inhale doesn't count.

Try being on the Board clan, it just adds to that feeling.

I wish people would handle their grievances IC instead of just making matters worse on the forums!
Kiradawea2010-09-07 22:20:19
Already tried that thank you very much.
Sylandra2010-09-07 22:23:17
Totally casted a play. All Nil is about to break loose once we get this thing on the road. Meaning, halp new to this and mischief is bound to brew.
Kiradawea2010-09-07 22:29:24
It's super effective!
I've been stupid enough to actually do as I've said I'm gonna do and begun on my own play. I also set up a play earlier, so if you need any help, don't hesitate to ask.
Just don't ask me to make any backdrops or such. I'm not sure if I'd be able to give you the no I should be giving you.

Hallifaxians should totally be above walking on their own feet. Elostian, please install a complex system of pneumatic tubes to get around the city proper.

Yes, please make Hallifax more difficult to navigate

Yes it is, I know the city properly now (epic quest really does help with that) and I'm not saying it doesn't sorta make sense or that I get lost, but it's hard to navigate and sometimes extremely silly?
How do I get to the bottom of the city? - Oh, you have to go up first, because that's not counterintuitive at all?
How do I go to the next shop along? - Go down, then any direction, then down again, then along a bit, then up and up again, then along a bit, and you're at the next shop.
How do I get- JUST USE PATH FINDER, DAMMIT! I DON'T KNOW!
Ileein2010-09-07 23:48:00
It really isn't. It takes some practice (or a really good explanation) to learn the pattern, but once you do, Hallifax is really incredibly simple to navigate. Among the easiest cities, really, though Celest's really up there in terms of simplicity.
And the only time you have to go up to get to the bottom of the city is if you're at the Matrix, which is kind of a special case, being sort of suspended like it is.

Hey man, this was my first MUD and I started in Hallifax. That? That is not fun. I wanted to commit virtual suicide due to the format more than once.
EDIT: Ok though I do concede it got easier.
