So... I was thinking. Do people prefer player-created conflict or Divine-created conflict? And if it is player-created, when is enough, enough?
I prefer player-initiated anything to Divine-initiated anything. This is not because I don't like the Divine, who are excellent, but because I love it when players take their own story into their own hands.
For a variety of reasons, this is a wildly unpopular position, so to answer your question, I'd say "people" prefer Divine-created conflict.

I think a lot of people would like to agree with Xinemus if they felt like they could, mind.

Village feelings ensure that not all of the villages remain under one org, too.
Debatable, especially as it appears that the village feelings have completely replaced the old "cannot influence/more trouble influencing opposing villages" for village sets, and in my opinion have a much lower effect.

Stage two of "Woo the Maiden": complete
Commencing stage three.
Commencing stage three.

The proper response is to punch them to the stage, where they will then watch it.

Another revolt, another Glomdoring win. Oh woe. Wouldn't be so bad if one of the other allies won, I could do quests then.

Have to want it.
Also, don't worry really. Villages do move around, especially with varying timing (see: Delport / Stewartsville, where Seren won them both!). They'll have other owners in time.

Hey, I was part of the begining of Shantmark, so it's not like I don't want one of my allies to have it >_> I wouldn't have even minded one of Glom's allies having it.

Then we are in luck. I do not mind Glomdoring having it, so between the two of us we have all the bases covered.
And next time, the village may decide to go somewhere new! The village quests aren't really 'required' and definitely aren't time-limited, so you can afford to be a little patient. When they go to someone else they will be there for a couple of weeks.

Pfft, by Glomdoring's allies, I'm excluding Glomdoring.

I am aware. That is why I stated 'between the two of us, we have all the bases covered.' As I clearly do not mind Glomdoring having it.

Indeed, the one who fights hardest for a village will win. Can't give up (which Serenwilde did) and then whine that Glomdoring won.

That's pretty much it.
I do have to give some props to Hallifax for being down and out pretty much the entire time and never giving up, though. Once the dust settled from the fighting it was pretty clear it would be either Glom or Celest.

Who are you? I don't think I've met you before, and I try to be part of a lot of the skirmishes/revolts/defenses.
By the time some people who could help win a village were around, the village was gone. Bad timing like Xenthos said.

How am I supposed to go to bed if you are throwing out the 'Welcome!' mat for forum SerenDrama?

HONOURS EVERIINE.
Last I checked, he was one of your GMs.
This is why I thought you were not posing a genuine question.
