So I heard from a not so reliable source (Syridean) that shouts and zap aren't getting approved!? I mean, I kinda put off choosing a zap and shout because I am picky, but then I realized I don't care! So I want to see if I can get my hot pink zap with sparkles approved? Anyone know?

They aren't being approved until the Endgame Overhaul is finished.

I think they're putting off approving them until the new demi/ascendant nerfs are in, and probably making them cost more to customise.

Also, they're reconsidering the rules because the actual rules they were making people stick to were looser than the stated ones previously.

I only just came back to Lusternia at the start of July and now I don't feel like logging in any more. On either character. Bleh. For a game that can't be won, Lusternia sure likes to make me feel like I lose every day.

Well, all right. But Orotu and Tazun are kind of creeping me out. They're actually talking to me. The last time I had a Malignist, GHELP NOVICES basically said "go learn 90 Necromancy and 90 Evil Eye to graduate". It's a bit of shock to have an actual structure again.

I actually QQed when Tazun asked me how I was doing because I'd killed myself three times today on purpose just so I could answer some riddles. There's a stack of ~70 tokens sitting at the entrance to Dis because I was scurrying all over the place doing things like a squirrel with acute ADD. I mean, how do you even explain that?

Actually, the problems you pointed out are all great arguments for why that awesome idea should be a player run and engineered org. There is absolutely no reason why a group of players couldn't form an Illith cult with some crazy "Order head" who "communes" with Her. You could even have authoritative texts scattered throughout random libraries. If you were ok with a Clan, you could facilitate even more things through news, help files, etc. You could have ranks, rituals, a mythos, revelations, missions -- anyone could do this right now. No Admin necessary unless they wanted to get in on the action, which would be cool, too.

You could raise the objection that, without an Admin Illith, there would be no way to authoritatively settle power or doctrinal disputes. Congrats, you're now the most realistic religion in Lusternia.

You could object that the game mechanics would make it impossible to fully realize your goals (i.e. the release of Illith). True, but game mechanics make it impossible for any of the orgs to fully realize their goals.

It just always gets me to see people come up with these cool RP ideas and then get all, "If only the Admin would do that for us. Ok, back to raiding."

This idea is continuous with lore and does not go counter to any kind of mechanical restrictions inherent in the game, itself. I say go nuts. In this case, literally.
