I love that even though lots of people seem to be complaining about Gaudi/its leadership, its our fault, and we need to leave. Because, you know, the common denominator couldn't possibly be the people who are jerks both IC and OOC to the players.

How many people have you two alone driven away from the city because you are mean both in character and out? Hell, we have the Magnagora thread, where people are like "JUst talk to them OOC! They're really not mean. Its just the RP!"

But with you? You are just like your characters. You aren't RPing when you're being mean to people, that is what you are really like and really intend to do. How do I know that? Because you do it here as well. How you act here is identical to how you act in-character. You show no remorse at all for the characters you cost the city and its guilds, and that is pretty terrible.

Don't forget that you need at least five of one type of token (turn left or right), and it is entirely luckbased what kind of token you need. And the tokens have a tendency to just disappear, and finding new stone critters is tough if you're alone, because not only is it difficult to find the speeder again, it seems to reset incredibly fast after you start speeding around.

Not after you've reached CR 4. I am CR 5, which means that the only favours I get are for artistic or scientific merit.

These issues really should be solved IC, and not brought to the forums every time something happens.

There seems to be a pretty big psychological disconnect here: the people who are being "driven away omg!" by and large quit or were removed because they wanted Gaudiguch to be the kind of place where they could do absolutely anything they wanted without consequences. Over time this has included everything from massive overdrawing of power (2k+) to claiming an impossible level of blood-relation to an historical family. Sometimes the stupid ends with temporary leaf-growing.

Freedom without consequences just isn't how Gaudiguch rolls. The city started out as being pretty lax regarding citizen behavior, but over time the city's population has proven - amply - that it simply cannot handle near-limitless freedom. So yes, Gaudiguch's leaders are mean - they don't let everyone get away with everything in the name of "freedom", since not only is that not a productive way to run an organization, it's not even how the administration set the place up, Scuchidira being the star of Girls Gone Wild: Gaudiguch excluded.

Though yes, Everiine is right - you'd probably get a little further if you did something other than bring the conversation onto the forums with all due speed.

Anyone who says "Deal with it IC" in regards to Gaudiguch don't know what they're talking about. Gaudi is run by an OOC clique, therefore, nothing IC will do anything about it. You can see it here just fine--you mention the name of one of the leaders and they all come running. There is no IC in the situation at all. It is all OOC and it will continue to be that way, especially since none of them care.

There are better ways to deal with misguided people than to tell them to shut up or leave, and I'm sort of appalled at everyone defending it.

I'm sorry, but as much as you seem to enjoy thinking you know everything, you just don't. There have been a few suggestions made to you as to how to deal with it IC, so how about you stop coming here to insult the playerbase behind the characters, and attempt one of those? Thanks.


I should add. You're not going to get everything you want all the time. Organizations and other players are not going to always behave the way -you- think they should. You might not be happy with people, but automatically assuming that speaking with someone won't work because we're all a bunch of horrible people in our real lives who do nothing but bring OOC into the game is just ridiculous.

Oh, clearly. We all come running because we're horribly mean sharks and we smell blood in the water. Gaudiguch is totally run by an OOC clique, we do absolutely nothing IC, and anyone who isn't in our clique might as well just SUICIDE;AGREE because they're never going to get anywhere.

Or you might be misinformed. However, I can tell that claiming that it's all Kalin/Lyria/Rodngar/Aoife/the janitor's fault because we're meanie heads OOCly is much more dramatic and clearly more satisfying.

And more likely to get you warned and your posts deleted 'cause this exact same topic already got split after 3 warnings, then locked. Even if you can't deal with it IC, if you think players are misbehaving, take it to issues/email support, not the tweets thread.
