That was a temporary enemying, because people were fighting at the node, and the city entrance is literally right there. So if there were spill over, at least we could defend the thing. The statuses were removed once the node was gone. So not quite the same thing as an "youz our enemies now for linking dis". Since things have settled, hasn't been necessary.

Unless there was another time that I'm unaware of, which is possible enough.

As for the enemy thing, I prefer a more organic approach. If person X generally acts against the org, i.e., consistently rushing to defense against their unilateral attacks against a current enemy, then its probably worth the enemy status. But its not something that is always appropriate, either.
