The 150 gold/rl day is a turn off for me too since I'm lazy and don't want to commit to such things, but... can't manage to kill 3 quinotaurs a day? A dozen rats? Two pilgrims/bards/scholars? I earn more than 150 gold wandering around Celest collecting my .1 lessons per minute. Though just for the riding skill, I can see why you wouldn't want to bother.

Yes, I can easily manage 150 gold a session. Doesn't matter, because that's 150 gold I could be using for other things and I don't exactly have an excess of gold to waste. I was keeping the turtle as a cool, ex-Aquamancer RP thing but now it's getting really annoying to pay stable fees on top of everything else I've been paying for lately.

Egran contested during corruption month as a joke, Ixchilgal followed suit, including outright sarcastic hahah posts. People started taking it seriously so Egran withdrew and posted that he was disappointed in people taking a joke seriously (more or less). Anyania jumped on the joke after being told "no don't this has lost it's funny" commented about it being funny, was told no it's not funny anymore, and that she should have read Egran's post about people taking it seriously before saying nobody would take it seriously.

The next day she posts that she is contesting for real, because she was "appalled" at the reaction to her joining the joke.

A 0% might alt brigade showed up posting on her behalf. They are shrubbed now. Gaudiguch does what it can to lessen its footprint on the basin with every election!

Gaudiguch will be a forest commune within the next three elections.

Also finding out that someone's IC/OOC barrier is so thin that their FB status is "You're going down Kalin!"

I wonder if these people cry when people kill them in WoW too.

I can count on one hand the number of characters in Celest who give a rat's ass about Denust. So while there may be able people, there are most certainly not willing people. Besides, my turtle's level 5 and falling fast and I'm not about to let up now. It's kind of like squeezing a big, ugly green stress ball. Or beating a similar punching bag. there was an episode where they investigated someone who was found weighted on the bottom of the sea. He was playing a wow like game on a military cruiser and found out his in game archnemesis was on the same ship as him, he challenged the other guy to a duel and lost or some such.
