Life is meaningless without Omniscience.
I thought life was meaningless if you did know everything. Many, many episodes of sci-fi shows have shown me this. D:
(Yes, I know what you really mean.)

I can count on one hand the number of characters in Celest who give a rat's ass about Denust. So while there may be able people, there are most certainly not willing people. Besides, my turtle's level 5 and falling fast and I'm not about to let up now. It's kind of like squeezing a big, ugly green stress ball. Or beating a similar punching bag. Whichever mental image you prefer.
You sound like a puppy; very loyal, but in exchange requires much attention. Feel free to move to Magnagora and I'll take good care of you.

Omniscience is a hassle. Not only do you know everything, you have to deal with the knowledge of EVERY SINGLE SUBATOMIC SPASM EVER.

Forgive me for being completely unable to empathize with the Vernal. I've only got Astrowave, myself.

Then ask someone outside your city? There's always help if you know to look.

Tweet: Why is it taking me this long to write Aubrey's new description after she reincarnated?
Razenth2010-07-26 23:04:28
I was trying to write an aslaran one, and then I checked out what Narynth could write and gave up in despair and settled for "DESCRIBE SELF is an elephant."

She's a good writer, eh? I might have to consult with her...

I can make decent descriptions when I'm in the mood if you give me the basic idea of what you want to look like in the end.

Sure. The more ideas to work with, the better.
Tweet: I like how any time someone has a concern and tries to address it, complete with constructive conversation and possible solutions, a certain admin swoops in and closes the thread. That sends a pretty clear message. And you better believe support@lusternia.com will hear about it, if we're not allowed to discuss it anywhere else. *waits for this post to be deleted, of course*

In assigning guild tasks to surveillance agents in the new Directorates, I have now experienced a need and want for letters that self-destruct once read.

Get a cook to write it on a cake. "Eat this message once read".
Unknown2010-07-27 00:51:17
Or get a bookbinder who can encode the message to only be read by your guild. They can do that, can't they?

She's a VERY good writer. And she likes writing descs too, so you should definately ask her.
Druken2010-07-27 00:54:18
If you can FIND a bookbinder anymore.
Sarrasri2010-07-27 00:55:55
I have no problem finding bookbinders when I need them. I usually have a selection of three or so at least.

What if it is the bookbinder who is under surveillance?
Noola2010-07-27 00:57:16
I play a bookbinder. And yes, bookbinders can translate a text in a book or scroll to be only readable by certain groups. Guilds, Orders, Cities/Communes and Clans too, I think.
