Words cannot describe my hatred for when people in-game tell me what I can and cannot do. Now, there are certain things like that that don't bother me.

For instance, don't go into Gaudiguch and start killing people, or, don't go onto the Fire Plane and steal their essence because we're friends.

It's primarily the things where people tell me what not to say. For instance, "don't yell" or "don't shout". I just want to express my rage about this, because it really, REALLY pisses me off.

Yeah, being told not to yell or shout is actually one of my personal pet peeves. Sometimes, one just needs to yell or shout something and being told 'Don't do that.' when you do is only gonna make you want to do it more. Or at least that's the effect it has on me. Plus, the ability to do so wouldn't be there if it weren't meant to be used occasionally.

For the love of god.

Stop making novices in the Illuminati. Just for the rest of tonight.

Stop making alts, even. Stop moving your characters over. We're so understaffed my head is going to explode if I have to answer another question.

Dammit. I was thinking about rolling an Illuminati alt, too! I want to see all the loldrama in Gaudiguch for myself. And I haven't gotten to see Vortex yet, even though it's probably going to be very squick-inducing.

Also: I was going to roll either Mugwump (for arrpee) or Faeling (for influencing) because I haven't played a squishy race in... ever. I needs mah comparatively huge HP pools. D:

Lulz. I'd much rather have dedicated characters in the guilds than alts.

I mean, I love that now, at 12:30 just past midnight on the west coast, we've got 17 members online. Seventeen. That's fantastic. Save that one time Aeromancers got uppity (hiss!) we've dominated topguilds, too. That's great too.

But it's hard to delegate. Undersecs have to be around when the Administrator is to be appointed (I think) and preferably GR3 too (since they're able to take care of rank advancements... I think... we haven't gotten this written down clearly enough yet!) and blah blah blah.

Non-undersecs seem to rarely take it upon themselves to help out, which is unfortunate, but I can't blame them for it. It's tiring.

Edit: It also doesn't help that I'm undertaking this atrocious Epic Quest, sucking up seven+ hours a day of my spare time, all in an attempt to discover some extra guild rp (and thus far failing miserably - and actually making me feel bad for Gaudiguch with the way it's written out).

Wow, I envy you. Even if only a third or a quarter of those members are novices, that's way more than almost any other guild is going to have online at one time. I miss organizing newbie things, like quizzes, and ratting contests, and scavenger hunts...

Can't do that anymore with the huge decrease in Celestian novices, and a little bit because of the collegium system.

Could be worse, you could be the Institute. You know, like 2 active people, none over gr2?
