Do it on an aethership. With a reinforced door and a flamed monolith, only demigod enchanters can escape. (Or novices who still have portals.) Without the aethership, the demigod requirement expands a bit to include anyone who can disenchant the sigil. Now that they're removed omniscience, it's pretty foolproof.
Foreign nexus worlds serve the same purpose, but they're larger and they could all just pick a corner to sulk in.

Pondered the monolith, but ones a enchanter, not sure about one other. Neither of them are novices. Depending on when I can do it, one might be a demi. I don't want to strand them, just force them to talk their problems out.

If you revived that then we'd just fight over who got first priority.
There would be no fighting over who got first priority because the criteria was straightforward and you didn't get a choice in the matter. It wasn't like the project was a democratic vote. It was "you message so and so, they decide based on your message where you are on the list"
The problem with the project was that someone would get their turn and then spend 3 weeks getting 1 line.

so you change it to and you get x time to finish it before your turn is passed on to the next candidate
I don't know how long it takes for Gaudies side, but with Hallifax's side taking 6-7 hours I'd either expect people to do it within a game month, maybe 2 (yes I expect people to not have a life!)

It's the same, which is the issue. People just space and hold it up. Then complain and throw a hissy fit when we say to the next person, okay, go ahead, they're obviously not doing anything.

Uh? Who's going to loldrama you for going back?
Not the Templars. We need people, plain and simple, who are interested in the guild and aren't going to cause problems. Akui, Aliod and myself wont make a fuss, nor will Egran or Tlarras, if the Illuminati do? What do they expect, people always hop over to a new guild and if they get bored/can't find their niche, they're going to leave. It's why when people joined the Templars in the first place, and said oh well I'm just waiting for the Illuminati I said that's fine.

See, Lucan's whole RP ever since I made him has been Warrior. I wanted to try something new with him, and... well, I'm not happy. I wasn't happy when Rodngar grilled me before bringing me into the Illums, and I have this feeling that Rodngar will be the one to get on my case for rejoining the Templars, since he apparently vouched for me joining the Templars, then brought me into the Illums. I really would rather not deal with it.
Also, ugh, I feel like a terrible power minister. Real-life stress has kept me from apparently performing my duties adequately, because Nariah verbally owned Ongaku earlier. Regardless of whether or not it was IC, I felt like crap, because I'm the one who controls Ongaku, and therefore it's ultimately my fault he hasn't been doing his job properly. I need aides who actually... you know... AID me.

I've noticed a bit of a theme of this from Ongaku. He's so sweet and he gets so upset/worried over things! I just wanna hug him.

Trust noola to come in and say politely and sweetly what we all are thinking and some of us would have put much more bluntly. <3 Noola

I have it on fairly good authority that Rodngar will not bite your head off. Promise. Please chill out and listen to Noola.

HOLY METAGAMING
ongaku2010-07-28 03:10:52
Thank you, Noola, for putting it so nicely. I realize that I worry a lot and sometimes make things out to be bigger than they are, but that's just how I am. Believe me, I work hard not to be that way, but I can't just stop something that's been who I am for the past 25+ years.
Also, what the hell, Ardmore? How is anyone metagaming?

Like I said, really stressed IRL right now, so it's affecting how I react to pretty much everything. Not meaning to overreact or make mountains out of molehills or anything like that.

For the first time in (RL) months, I am enjoying playing again. I think the trick is short bursts and not stretching yourself out too much. When sleeping makes you feel guilty, it's a good sign that you need a break.
