I think they would have to get them fresh from the portal, but even then you aren't guaranteed... Maybe they should get some emaciated virgins from the Virgo sphere.

Lol there's a few. Some few in Gaudi prefer to think for themselves, and find enlightenment in their own ways, rather than simply do what everybody else is doing. Unfortunately they're probably not going to volunteer for live sacrifices. tongue.gif

I don't see carving out hearts atop the pyramid to placate a mysterious, feared entity, Mayan-style, appealing to either the too-drunk-to-care faction or the sly, cynical, more-aware-than-you-know faction. Which is a little sad.

Updated to Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Yay! Love Mac updates. Also put in for the M&M system pre-order and have a chance to play with the beta. Hope to offer input on how the system addresses kata, nekotai, stealth, psionics, & psychometabolism.

So you don't think it would be sane to have the people that are more-aware-than-you-know faction, use and downright lie to the too drunk to do anything but cover up everything else? I personally wouldn't mind seeing Drachycakes double as our killing mob.

Very belated response, but that might perhaps not be the best course. Halli Bards are up first (to give the new cities access to alchemy), and those are still at least a year off.

Not to mention giving them access to Art (for Hallifax) and Booze (for Gaudiguch), both of which seem like pretty essential things!

No... but who said anything about Mayan style sacrifice? I mean, Drachou is very important to Gaudi right? So why not thank him properly?

Also, it could have a nifty "death by chaos theory" message.
