Even if you say there is SOME way in, that way will get ONE person in, who is then facing the group without their friends being able to join them. That's a bit pointless...
Unknown2010-05-04 19:15:42
No way man, all it takes is one person depending your abilities. Just start gusting, mountkicking, or stag headbutting them once you get in, they'll have to walk back into the statue, and the less people there are, the harder it gets to kill people. Plus usually, the one person in can pick up the mono and be a target for instabeam.

Incidentally, I always thought flow should let GP just because it's magical, but you guys went and nerfed shadowdance flight past GP, so we're all gonna have to make do!
Unknown2010-05-04 19:15:52
I don't think we're fingerpointing at the skill, Shuyin. We're just trying to understand how it works, is what I gather.
Also, Scax isn't always around, and I'm not sure that you can have an entourage follow you when you bondunite, so it would be sort of useless to just have him go in alone. I don't know how that would work.
Furthermore, you guys came in to kill our guards when we had over twenty five.

I'm just feeling frustrated here on how we can deal with it.

That's true. You should have your group follow that person. Which works, if that wasn't clear.

Oh man, first pits, now greatpent?! On a roll here.

1. The shieldsong by harbs helps but by no means guarantees life. Like Talan said, if it protects you from 1 guard, 14 others will still smack you. On top of that, we necessarily can't hide behind shield just because of the fact that if we did, it wouldn't help the guards die faster (i.e. the intent) and increases our chance of -all- dying horribly. To be quite honest, any repeated fingerpointing at the -shield song- of all things just strikes me as an unrelated tangent and yet another 'wow wtf glom is crazy OP' talk of the day.

2. Sidd is talking about using bond unite. You guys magically got more than 1 tracker who isn't Everiine now, so I'm sure you can do it. Try asking Scax to help!

3. Honestly, if you guys are going to want to protect the guards, then just put more than 25. You're the ones who insist on defending what amounts to a losing proposition (loss on power for guards vs. gain on village), so just go all the way and don't half-ass it.

1) We were just curious about the song because of miss sounding like improper use of it and captivate get everybody killed.

2) Thank for actually stating it instead of being a censor.gif and just saying it's lolobvious.

3) I told them 40ish or don't bother when I was actually paying attention to the conversation. ):

How are they expected to survive long enough for people to beam, or gust more than one person away when there's like ten people beating on them in the room?

It's Prime org territory, they're gonna have to deal with avenger if they start killing people.

Avenger works in enemy villages?
Unknown2010-05-04 19:21:06
I was told that you cannot follow someone through Flow any more. Not sure about Bond Unite, but I figured that was akin to Totem Return and didn't let people follow, either. (By the way, Flow won't work for us when you change the terrain to wyrden for your song.)

So, out of all the abilities in the game, one thing gets through GP effectively now?
Unknown2010-05-04 19:21:31
Ok, look. In the event that you get in, everyone else will have to continue hitting the guards. They can't really focus on you while doing so. Maybe 1 or 2 people might attack you, but that's it. If you're involving yourself in combat, chances are, you can cure with treant at the very least. And Treant can handle 1-2 people definitely. From there, you can do your business.

Worse comes to worse, serpent first before going in, or something. If you're Moon, use minitrueheal.

Edit: Yes, we can't just kill you either, we get status so it definitely is more or less a mistake to start actually killing players. It's rough for us too!

Edit 2: Flow not taking entourages was nerfed around the time Mag got angry that SW would grab people and just group flow for the kill. So bummer. I'm sure bond unite will be given the same treatment one day once the loudest complainers get a whiff on it. But yes, you can follow people who bond unite.

When you hit a loyal, like a guard, you declare everyone on prime from that org. So if you kill them while attacking that village, it's like declaring and killing them anywhere else.
Unknown2010-05-04 19:23:45
"In the event that I get in" is the only difficult part in this whole scenario. Granted, I wasn't around for this little raid, but I used to see the same from Narsrim and Thoros. I have no problems tanking a few people, especially with guards to help, but thanks for the vote of confidence anyway. Heh.

I always envied Moonbeam greatly. Does it bring entourage as well?

/derail

Incidentally, I was curious. Does sporing into a Greater Pentagram'd room work?
Unknown2010-05-04 19:31:12
Heh, yes, sporing into a GPed room will work. Good catch. That by itself should guarantee you guys get into the GPed room every time now.

Also it just occured to me, but if you keep that room melded, the shield song won't work either because it needs wyrd.

Man, we are helping you defend your guards better, better not say all gloms are dicks now sad.gif
Unknown2010-05-04 19:32:54
Just break the meld?

Well that would require enough active Hartstone to cover all the villages. Plus since you're already declaring by attacking guards, could possibly just break the meld first. Also didn't you say the song doesn't really make that much difference? =p

That requires stepping into the meld, promising you'll know we're there before we can start hitting guards. Else, you can make a meld that can't be broken without moving past the guards entirely with some setups.
