If you're a trademaster, you'll need to message the Charites to tweak the designs which have resetting commodities should they be altered to be made impossible to create.
Also, if the monk affliction speed is too off-kilter now, you'll want to contact your nearest envoy to get that looked at too.

Pipes were one of the few things that artisans, particularly those of low skill, could make much of any profit on. The extra decay time now is virtually impossible to use against the commodity difference here, so there's very little reason to get artisan pipes now, unless you intend to rune them. Please revert artisan pipe costs back, or make arts-made pipes cost more wood.

I'm not sure that will help long term. Comm supply is the same after those stockpiles wear down, so we're going to see prices rise across the board or have demand fall off a cliff. This makes coming back after your stuff decays even more painful than it was, and it makes it harder to get on your feet as a novice.

This is going to have pretty much the exact opposite of the "intended" effect, unless the intended effect is to move the stockpiling from city to personal rifts and belts.

I do not like this all being a jeweler. It is hard enough getting gems at a decent price (108 gold is the lowest you will ever get uncut gems). It now costs me 250 commodities to make a single brooch because of a bug that was never fixed a long time ago. You are only suppose to be able to wear one brooch at a time, why was this never fixed so it would cost the same as a normal heirloom item? Sure those people who like to fight might have something to whine about this but it is a bug and should have been fixed 4 years ago instead of letting it go this long, and now it actually hurts. How about and addition of more rockeaters if these problems are not figured out or better yet, a skill that lets us harvest our own gems from the beast at a price. I don't know but this change stinks in my opinion and everyone, including newbies are going to pay for it. It costs me twice as much to make rings, I sell for 500 gold, I will have to sell them for at least 800 and 1000 if I want to make any sort of profit from it.
Why did every trade comms have to be upped because of one change? That does not make sense at all and what about the cities that do not have villages at all? They do not have an income of comms even coming in, look at Gaudiguch - it has yet to get a village period. Those problems need to be taken care of before we go off and think, everyone is swimming in comms now we are going to charge you more! No one is going to change their government for commodities, not when it will end up costing them the village in the long run. I know when I was trade minister, I stock piled commodities for two reason 1.) a rainy day when we would not have any villages (which ended up happened and lasted a long time because Glom had that huge surplus going on) 2.) I could offer a lot lower price, instead of paying 150 gold for a gold commodity, I could sell them for 100 before I was replaced.

This is only going to happen if Estarra changes a few more things for commune/city comm shops.
The most important would be to allow the Trade Minister to set separate prices for org-members and foreigners. The other would be the ability to outright ban anyone from a given org from buying from the comm shop. Neither of these options currently exist, and I don't really see any group risking letting a lot of cheap comms sit around unless there's some relative assurance that they'll stay there for them, and not get shipped out for the "enemy" or whoever else.

I too enjoy the idea of having more than one brooch. I hate rings for enchantments. I am even designing my own set of brooches for everything because they are just so much more useful than rings or bracelets in my eyes.

Would anyone be able to tell me how kata tempering works? (never knew muh about forging) Are you able to temper a kata weapon that has been removed from the forge?
If not, are any knights able to tell me if they were allowed to transfer their runes/customisations to a new weapon when the last round of forging changes went through? I'm trying to see if it's reasonable for me to ask for mine to be returned for a new weapon if my current staff cannot be tempered.
