There was no reason to spend the power on Spider stellium there. Papaxi is a one-time curse, Sun does crap damage, so after the first time, you were spending 2p to cast Eroee and spam 2 extra lines.

If she'd have just cast Spider, it would have given her one of those at random. If there's more than one planet in a sign and you need to be assured of hitting what you want, you need to Stellium, even if the other ones are crap. Casting Eroee by itself would have used his nativity instead of the current alignment.
