Gorgulu doll please!!

You got Baalphegar's tome instead. And...

QUOTE
The frightening visage of Spirit Crow has been artfully transferred to this
plush doll, his feathered form fashioned from black cloth and stuffing. Two
broad wings stick out from his sides, long triangles of cloth layered atop the
base fabric in an imitation of feathers. Two strips of supple black leather meet
to form the beak, above which rests a single red button on one side of the head.
Beneath the body sits a pair of stuffed feet, the talons merely blunt toe-like
stubs.
It weighs 3 ounce(s).
It is imbued with 0% esteem.
A plush doll of Crow has no poisons or magical effects on it.

I am really, really curious about what exactly these two dolls will do. Crow doesn't really speak, and the other... well, it's a damn tome. wtf.gif

Nice to see new things all the same!

Given that there's no Cririk doll, but a Scuchi doll, I expect he'll be in the next batch.
Eventru2010-05-25 23:49:21
There's two more dolls coming. The enslaved children Jeremiah uses to make them haven't finished their latest round on time.

As for the title about just having bought credits, I expect if you bought since the artifact special sale ended you may be able to get dingbats. It seems that these promotions are across all IRE games and at least one of the others started shortly after that sale ended.

I guess try emailing sales or support.

I am curious as to what the prayer beads actually do. What does being able to pray to your god anywhere and anytime mean?
Aerotan2010-05-25 23:52:39
Anyone else notice an odd space in that post?

I suppose. I bought credits yesterday on Xaakin. :<

@Aerotan: Odd space? o.o

I assume instead of having to go to a fulcrux to PRAY TO (god) (blah) to speak to them privately and whatnot, you'll be able to do it wherever.

Any shrine will do, as a general note.

Yes, but it's not present in HELP DINGBATS, and that matters more.

Go to simple questions where I asked. Lets you 'message' the gods as apparently most don't accept normal messaging ...

On a related note, do people really pray that much to the gods for a 150db artifact (~300cr)? It seems a bit over priced to me.

There's also some concerns about this cube. It doesn't serve any clear purpose other than providing a new avenue for theft among those with a dominate skill.
Estarra2010-05-26 00:11:12
Oh, I forgot to mention that the earlier dolls were retired. Remember, they're collectibles!

Gregori2010-05-26 00:11:41
First thing I said when I saw it is... oh great we will have Tophat thieves, who don't even need to wait for the tophat to reset to get the items.

Followed by, I hope Illuminati get Dominate. >.>

Owner Bob is squishy today because he's suffering from healer burnout, psionic burnout, shattered ego, and lagging like CRAZY, but the org needs a bajillion essence turned in in a hurry. Bob gives Jack the bin, then stands at the turnin point. Then Jack goes and gets the essence, say on Xion, and puts it in the bin for Bob to turn in. Another scenario is that Bob has a large order to fill, but not much time left in the realm. He hands Jack the bin, the comms, and the fee, and QQs. Jack then fills the order and sticks it in the bin.

EDIT: This is in regards to the cube and lack of usefulness.

FURTHER: I've noticed that Lusternia, while quite grieferish, tends to not tolerate thieves. If people are caught stealing, the playerbase tends to shun them. Likewise, if an artifact is used to facilitate theft, that just means that the admin have quicker access to proof of said theft.

Certainly there are legitimate uses for it. Avatar raids and such, there are also far more dubious uses for it and while we have a pretty good playerbase when it comes to thieves... this item seems to have "9 out of 10 thieves recommend this item" written all over it.

I know it's a better way to do it, but what makes it fundamentally different than dropping a pouch or something, forcing people to put stuff in there, then picking it up?

Proper triggers stop the latter.

It'll be great, give cube to victim, force victim put cubix/soap/scroll/cube in cube, profit.

The only thing I'd want is the umbrella, and the ram doesn't even take down walls in one hit sad.gif
