See attachment. Starts with a climb rocks, but it never finishes, and the timestamps show that far more than enough time elapsed for it to complete. See if you can see what happened. It might be a bug; I have no idea. Thanks!
Dynami2010-05-24 06:44:11
Yup, looks like a bug. I searched through the log and found no mention of you falling into a pit.
Ceren2010-05-24 06:45:08
Ah sorry. Me falling into a pit happened before the start of the log. Hence the climb rocks.

I think you misinterpreted my post. I looked for the word "pit" after you climbed out.
Edit: And by look I mean using ctrl+f.

I climbed out? Where?

No no no no. That's the start of a climb rocks. That's supposed to take me out of the pit 6 seconds later, regardless of my condition. I'm looking for why that didn't happen.
Rika2010-05-24 06:58:48
No, he began to climb out. The fact that he didn't finish climbing out is what he thinks is a bug.
Ceren2010-05-24 06:59:44
Right. And if it is a bug, wtf is it? I don't know what to tell them.
Rika2010-05-24 07:02:30
Not sure about the mechanics of pits, but I thought you had to be on-balance and have both arms to be able to climb out, even if you climbing on balance and with both arms.
Ceren2010-05-24 07:03:10
That's exactly right for regular climb out. Climb rocks is more like a tumble though.
Unknown2010-05-24 07:22:31
You cured right hemi before six seconds, but still had left. So either one sided hemi is blocking climb rocks (Ouch.), double hemi outright cancelled it without a fail message (Ouch.), or it's something entirely different. I'd play with the hemiplegy thing by itself without all the other afflictions going around, though.

Yeah, this has happened to me before too. I just figured I was missing something. Got to be a bug.
Why would that happen just one second after he started climbing Krellan? Wouldn't that be at the end, around 80.4?

Maybe fear canceled the climbing?

Moving tends to cancel other movements with time-delays. You used to be able to cancel tumble by forcing someone to move in a direction, and the tumble would end (with no message that it stopped beyond the "You feel your will manipulated by a pooka. You are off balance and cannot do that." lines).
Good guess would be that the same issue is cropping up here, actually; some other form of movement was attempted, it failed. Since it was attempted it canceled the delayed move.
Unknown2010-05-26 00:47:20
That would make sense given that currently, if you did climb up (regular) while already doing climb rocks, climb rocks gets canceled.
Krellan2010-05-26 00:48:42
What Xenthos said. I also heard climbing up mid climb rocks will make it fail so it looks like that line I bolded was some kind of move attempt line. Just saying if you look at it, that's where you should reasonably look for a bug.
