I'm going to be that guy and say, the idea of being able to buy demigawd is awsome!! Then in my serious voice I'll add, when can I buy an artifact tac nuke?
The fact that it's a permanent bonus is nice. I always miss the double xp days and waste achievements. Maybe I'll finally be able to catch up slightly. Granted, by the time this gets to be a noticable amount, Aubrey will already have long beaten me to demigod.
Caffrey2010-05-26 21:03:27
I wish this could be offered in the form of time cards, like for Eve online. I dislike monthly membership fees, especially when it's converting into another currency. If I could buy 6 months worth of time and then when the expiry date is drawing near, buy some more to top up then I would definately do it. As it is, the XP bonus sounds nice, so I will still think about it.

So, odd request, but can the price be raised a penny? PayPal just announced a deal for $10 off a purchase of $25 or more.

Seconding this.
Also, I've always tried to avoid automatic payments due to my *ahem* proclivity towards overdrawing my accounts. As such, I would feel a whole lot better about it if there were simply payments and a due date to be made every month. To discourage late payments, make it so you don't get your benefits for that month until you DO pay. For more extreme cases of default, if people don't pay within say, 30 days after the due date, you lose your accumulated bonuses.
This kind of system would keep payments coming in on time I feel, and would be a lot more inviting than automatic debit. But that's just me. I'll probably end up grabbing this anyway, it's just too much of a deal to pass up.

Even I cannot resist 100 credits for $15. Do it.

I have enough money in my account for WoW or this.
WoW can't be played for free.

If it didn't involve paypal, I'd get it. I'm boycotting paypal for the forseeable future, so this makes me sad.

It's not boycotting if you get your friend to shop at them for you. >.>

If you're boycotting PayPal because you don't trust their policies or don't trust them in general, open a debit/checking account and use it only for important Internet purchases that leave you no alternative.
If you're boycotting PayPal for idealistic reasons, you're really just inconveniencing yourself, because so many online merchants utilize it. PayPal can't regulate and micromanage every petty thief or scammer who opens an account with them, and blaming them for the inevitable problems arising from widespread Internet commerce is... a choice I don't agree with.
IRE is a business and clearly believes that the benefits of using the service far outweigh the risks. I've been using PayPal since 1999, have made hundreds of online purchases, and have never had a single problem with them.
What I'm saying here is that PayPal boycotts aren't a legitimate reason for IRE to consider other payment options.

Yeah, she's all like "I won't use PayPal! They tried to cheat me out of money once! If I give you $40 will you buy this for me on your PayPal account?"
Akraasiel2010-05-27 02:56:11
I don't do business with a company whose idea of customer service is 'oh? our technical error screwed you out of some money? Suxx to be you, pal'
Hence why I have always paid for my credits via money order since the earliest days of paypal (when said incident happened). I think I've had a friend use it on my behalf once in the intervening years. I'll stop boycotting paypal when they give me my money back.
(and yes, it was an error with paypal itself, not anyone on either end)

I don't remember how long I have used paypal, but it's been a number of years and I have never had a problem with them other than an abnormally long wait on a bank transfer one time that had me worried, but it went through just took a little longer than I thought it should.

This is basically my experience as well. I've never had issues, and they've always been great about getting me refunds if I've needed them.

*sigh*
It has been a long time, so maybe I should give it a try again then. But if I get screwed, I'm going to send PM's just to whine at you two for swaying me.
*smirk*
Edit:
@ Estarra: Thanks a lot... Lusternia makes me compromise my morals yet again, and I've only just started playing once more. Bloody IRE and its hypnotic mind-controlling games.
