Any scenario in which you have taken action IC as a result of something that happened OOCly is issuable, provided you can prove that the action was motivated due to the OOC condition rather then the IC condition. Lusternia is not an IC optional game.
Faenae is, as she stated, a member of Terentia's Order.
Kialkarkea is an enemy of the Order.
There is no problem with someone looking at the who list and attacking enemies of an organization. It's not issuable.
Beyond that and on another note - let's try to find a way to avoid insulting people.

Jumping any unaware enemy you can find isn't OOC, just douchebaggy.
Where is her line of reasoning from an IC perspective to kill me? Point it out for me. Kialkarkea hadn't even SEEN her before, much less spoken or even poked.
Acrune2010-06-19 03:46:37
Terentia explained it for you, I think. Sucks, but its legit.
Anyways, this was a cool thread. Don't ruin it

getting away from the forum lawyer bs..
Yes, Faenae can decide OOC that she wants to come after you IC because of this, but it's hardly provable, as since you are enemied to an order she's in, she has reason to slay you. Also, no offense but if she threatens you here, it's not like that gives you some sort of antigrief shield IC.

I don't care if someone kills me ICly. I don't use my levels. I have 0 reason to fight, 0 reason to hunt. It just bothers me when I see breaches in character.

There is no IC/OOC crossover here. I don't get why this is hard for you! Are you under the impression that enemy statuses are OOC? Heck, Faenae's tried to jump me in Gaudiguch, and I was one of her sparring partners in Celest. It's not an OOC thing. It's an overzealous attitude towards enemy statuses. That's not you. That's not something you posted. That's just Faenae.
Shaddus2010-06-19 04:42:57
This next part is merely my perception from the character Faenae from my dealings with her IC.
Basically, (and this is meant with no ill will or disrespect), Faenae's attitude IC is "I'm going to do what I want, when I want in order to further the goals of Celest or at least make myself stronger". Though Munsia started the whole Celest/Gaudi fight by siding with Magnagora during a Celestia raid, Munsia claims it's because Faenae raided the Fire Lords. I'm not saying this is true, but it's really really believeable. I've seen Faenae jump people, and then QQ, and then when a Celestian gets jumped for what Faenae did or Celestia gets raided because the person Faenae jumped was a Magnagoran nub, she just shrugs her shoulders. She's an asset to Celest, but she doesn't consider the consequences of what she does. She can be narrow minded and rude if she doesn't think the other person is living up to her rules. Once she got angry with me because I wouldn't stay in the same room during a spar. When she started building up momentum, I walked out of the room, let her cool a bit, and came back. She was pissed and told me basically that "That's not honourable" and that she wouldn't spar someone who did that.
Just my two cents. Other than that, she seems to be a wonderful person.

I think that is the best example of a "hey look I got my a** handed to me" post I have -ever- seen, on this or any other forum. Thank you for sharing, and for doing it while swimming in awesomesauce.

Feyrll this is an awesome comic strip.
Also I'd like to see dingbat dollies of the Divine have emotes taken from your artistic interpretation of them.
Ie Fain takes out a drumstick, and hungrily slams it against his mask.

Ongaku would have laughed soooooo hard if he was there and found out that was what happened. XD I love your comic strip too!
Turnus2010-06-23 19:28:54
This was hilarious when it happened! Seeing the comic after the fact is great. Clearly, a tactician Feyrll is not.

Yeah, I was reading that and thinking "whoa! Is that me? Have I been sleep-ganking?" I mean, I have this thing where I spastically scratch my arm while I'm sleeping (woke up bleeding the other morning), so sleep ganking's probably the next logical step, n'est-ce pas?
Funny comic strip, though. Indicates either an exceptionally well-adjusted reaction to being killed, or that you haven't been killed enough yet to build up a head of steam 'bout it.
