Father Sun is actually chained to the Sun. Not sure how but that's how the histories recount it.

I've never played fate tarot or whatever so that one completely passed me by, interesting. Certainly seems the logical conclusion to make.

But in truth I would rather like it more if perhaps for once it wouldnt be a tree that is the nexus of the commune, like maybe jojobo had something else that can be it. Who knows, maybe Jojobo's nexus could be like some sort of containment thing where Sun spirit was sealed in when put to sleep. Also, mostly going with my whole "mayan pyramids" idea, I wouldnt mind if Jojobo's nexus is some sort of sun pyramid or something, but thats just me .
A giant, glowing, sun-rock? maybe?
Llesvelt2010-07-31 00:45:22
This rock.

Yes! it makes sense too, there is spirit Sun and a Lion cub. It fits!

And a random baboon thrown in for good measure. Ooh, he could be the "keeper of the Nexus"/commune tutor.

It's really painful! I'm cringing with embarrassment IRL...

My work here is done.

I'd like to see the Seren quest changed to reflect that Tree.
Also; colourful sprays of flowers on the ground, filling th eair with perfume for Ackle-demesnes. Or however that word is spelt.
Alsoalso; You can't have the Pride Rock as the Nexus, because thats the bard spec. WildArrane? Psh. PrideRock is where it's at.

Except there's never ever been any mention of it outside of that fates deck. Wouldn't really make sense to include it till it comes to light in a more IC manner.
Shiri2010-08-01 02:57:05
What's OOC about the fate deck?
Ameryth2010-08-01 02:58:42
That's true...
What do we know about the Tree of Trees anyway? Are there any secret, stored away logs relevant?

It's not that the deck is OOC, just that it's hardly a definitive source worth citing to change all theories about history. It's not like the deck even claims anything. For all we know it's just a pretty picture someone drew on a flight of fancy, no more canonical than my play Blown Away.

You'd be extremely hard-pressed, as a scholar, to cite a deck of cards as a viable source of information. Artifact status or not. You'd be doubly hard pressed considering said pack of cards is sold by one Jeremiah Gryphta. Better to have a scholar or an actual book telling you what the name of Jojobo's tree is.
