That's what people used to do with mage / druid cudgels prior to being able to put runes on them (runes provide more so they are the better choice), they've done it with various other things of sentimental value that runes do not fit on. Admittedly this was more frequent prior to runes being able to be put on most anything, but it's never been rescinded if you want to pay credits...

Hmm, perhaps we could get an upgrade to the whistle that allows you to summon any ship you can pilot? This could have a limit, like one ship per lusternian day, unless you own that ship, then you get the normal summoning.

I want artifact certificates that could each do the following things:

-Make a permanent IC advertisement that won't fade in an IC year.
-Pardon a given cartel's gold costs for newly submitted designs.

Ohgod. My cartel is like a gigantic gold black hole. 1 million to get it, then 15k a year just to do something with it! And then you consider that any such artifact would probably come out to being higher in cost than any conceivable amount of design submissions...but...yeah I'd probably still buy it. I mean, I spent those 50 dingbats on a cloth-making-machine even though I'm never going to produce 50 dingbats worth of cloth...

All the designs I've done, I'm pretty close to having spent enough gold to buy a second cartel. Hell, Lunarrose is almost half way there. I talked with guild envoy about an idea for making at least city desigs cheaper (not much, but I've always been of the opinion, designs = culture, even if they don't) so hopefully it'll help. But yeah, I'd likely wind up saving for something that made Lunarrose cheaper in the long run.

I wouldn't mind additional artifacts for aetherships that added permanent flashpoints to the various bubbles. Basically a separate artifact for each bubble.

Obviously this would be handy for flares.

My suggestion: Diamonut of the something-or-other: Attaches to a ships grid and, at the expense of the use of any turret or collector function (and certain other abilities such as Seal) empowers the grid and makes it sentient. Essentially it makes the ship invincible without giving it any combat/flare/domoth advantage. Making it a perfect exploration and travel ship.

Odds are such an artifact would cost more credits than would be required to get to CharismaticAura from Beguile
