There is an active planar gate here with the following pathways:
A pathway to the Prime Material Plane
Knowing it goes to Prime doesn't really help as much as you might think :(
Fiddlesticks. Guess it's only pathways that do that. :(

Now, is that the rift to Icewynd, or is that the rift to a stack of 20 Gaudi guards...

There's no thread for new skills! If there was I would totally put it there.
True, but this does seem like a perfect fit for Simple Ideas too.

How about an artifact that lets a manse owner map their manse so people can use the MAP command to find their way around it?
I like this. L'ianmor especially would benefit, and lots of other *confusing!!!!* manses would as well. Don't forget the aetherships!

I would not mind an auction artifact to remove/raise the power limit of souls/spirits gained through DeathMask/DeathAura/PurityofSoul.

That skill is so OP, I would object to any arty made for it. No unlimited power gains for you! (At least until I can buy it as well)

Only unlimited if people happen to die repeatedly! The clear answer is to not get killed.

An artifact that you can specify to reset to a specific room, and that you can store other artifacts in it without them resetting to you.
(or just a toggle on the resetting of artifacts)
But not very expensive :}

What would be the intent of it? Why would you want the artifacts to not reset to yourself (other than perhaps make sharing easier, but I'm not sure they'd go for that)?

Balloon rune. - heavily reduces your summon resistance when worn.

Entirely cosmetic, for reducing clutter in the inventory. I have a lot of random stuff I carry around... I'd prefer to put them in a designated treasure room in my manse :) There are a number of other artifacts that are also purely cosmetic

The Sack of Beans
Portable furniture! Drop it in a room to let one person sit on it. Does not count for desks and the like!

In case Lusternia decides to do what Aetolia did like...Saturday, I believe it was...and set a movement reduction for every 500 ounces or maybe....100 lbs of inventory carried, there would need to be an artifact to either increase your carry limit or so...here're my two ideas for the entirely hypothetical situation in which weight becomes an issue for realism........yeah......realism in Lusternia.
Divine Muscle Belt: Allows the wearer to carry twice (or thrice) what they normally would before movement speed reduction becomes an issue.
Dehydrator: Dehydrates items, causing them to be much lighter. If you want them to return to normal size, just add water! (comes with a dropper that you can dip in a river or such)
Of course, the entire situation is solved with the Envirofinity Vacuum, but this could possibly be a cheaper way to get around this entire hypothetical problem. Can't wait to see what you think.

It wouldn't happen to have been their April Fool's change, would it? Because I can honestly not see anything good come out of that... at all.
Iosai2012-04-02 13:44:49
I believe that was indeed their April Fool's change. On behalf of them, I will say, "Gotcha!" ;)
Lendren2012-04-02 13:53:45
Does that mean our movement reductions from weather are also a really early, really well-played-out April Fool's Joke? Please? :)
Enyalida2012-04-02 14:15:35
I liked ours because it didn't pretend to be a serious change, so that when people looked at their calendars and realized the date, it was still funny.

Artifact that removes the limitation on how many entries you can put in a Stratagem list (or raises it to 100 or something); this lets you put your whole defup script into stratagems, or a DOR queue that is just fill-it-once instead of having to have a client-side script.
(That said, client side script to keep adding to a stratagem is really easy so I don't expect it to go for much, but hey-- it'd still see some use).

Shuyin had an idea for a arty that lets you set a message for deaths. I can see a use in that. if it changes the CAUSE.

I just got Marsean wings, and they're so awesome, I'm afraid to change them.
| A serpentine taint wyrm with shadowy wings --------------------- #153099|
I'd like to get rid of the serpentine part, but I want to keep the shadow-y wings part. While that's up to chance, I have an idea now for a new reagent.
Undoki Reagent: When fed to your beast, undoes the last zimoru change.
This is just in case my serpentine taint wyrm with shadowy wings decides to change to a pink taint wyrm with dripping wings, or some other nonsense.
