Hehe, cool idea but there is already an artifact of that name!
EDIT: And it makes more sense for Lachesis, tbh.

Name it whatever you want. I just want to join a family that isn't nonexistant... >_>

Some weaker, cheaper version of the Manna of the Gods artifact.

Only if it stacks with Manna.

No, seeing as Manna itself doesn't stack. Make it like combat runes, can upgrade once you get the difference in credits.

It's not a rune, it's a consumable. This means you should be able to have one of each!

Bloodbond in? I joined Skyplume(Now Windwhisper) after rejecting Starleaf, so maybe you can?
Xenthos2012-05-14 02:28:12
Since beastmaster whistles weren't in the auction, might they be something that is considered for sale in the artifact shop?

She has parents, and can't bloodbond to anyone.

Dingbat Contrivance artifacts that take you to the places only reachable by the teleport quest (working in the same way as the undervault contrivances did), so Mount Dio and... I think the Ruins of Climanti. That would be nice.
Xenthos2012-05-17 23:25:40
I'd probably buy a Dio contrivance.
Fania2012-05-18 02:38:05
It would also be nice to have an artefact that allows for bloodbonding. Main Dekoven bloodbonder is MIA and it's difficult to grow the Dekovens. Everyone thinks we are still a huge family and we really only have 2 active members. So yeah, any artefacts relating to family would be nice, or a revision to the family system would work as well.

What about whimsical artifacts? (Feel free to recap past ideas.)

Let's do this! Version Whimsy:
A gnomish balloon - When held in your inventory, it grants you a permanent levitation defense, however, it also reduces your summon resistance by a lot.
Kiakodan Pollen - when held in the inventory, anyone who says the user's name will make the user sneeze. If you want this to be even more fun, allow it to work off tells and channels as well.
Crumkane's cookie - a cookie that you can eat over and over and over for some sustenance. Usable twice per game day.
-a beacon of ice - generates one ice larva in the the user's room once per IC year.
-a time contraption - allows you to set your age once, contraption gets destroyed afterwards
-a book of regional dialects - allows you to give your says an accent or voice. Ex: Shuyin says in a whiny voice, "Nerf" - subject to admin review/approval.
-an alcoholic's pin - allows the user to permanently keep his tolerance level without it lowering over time.
-mark of racial superiority - allows you to change your perceived race to any of the spec-specific adjectives without actually changing your stats - ex: Shuyin the kephera can choose to be displayed as a royal kephera without zenobia being up, etc.
-a time machine - hides/obfuscates your age from honours. EX: His age is unknown. Or something wackier
-heartbreaker's amulet - hides your number of divorces from honours.
-changeling's locket - gives the owner access to all racial emotes.

Kiradawea:
The Bell of Free Spirit.
Ring the bell to learn if there is a mob in the local area that can be influenced and that is uninfluenced. Perhaps also how many.
Kiradawea:
Bottle of Luminol
A bottle of magical fingerprint powder that can be sprinkled to highlight objects probeable in a room.

I like the idea of Kiakodan Pollen, though maybe it shouldn't go off from clan aethers, can only imagine the sneeze spam that would come from people changing targets in a fight.
Thoroughly against the Time contraption, for obvious reasons, and the scroll of Laurels already hides someones age.
My own suggestion: Long range harassment, once a day can summon a gnome or some such thing to appear before someone, use the honk emote on them and then disappear.
The limb returner: Put a severed limb into the box and it will be teleported to the person it originally belonged to, if they are out of the realms it gets mailed to them in some special way.

Yeah, that can happen if allowed on channels, but hey, if you're willing to put up with spam, why not.
Hiding age/divorce is a bit more specific. Not everyone can buy/wants a scroll.
Personally, I'm fond of whimsical ideas that have some use, to justify their typical 50-200 db costs.

More:
A gnomish hose - fills a room with actual water, making you need to SWIM to get in/out.
A heavenly drill - allows you to temporarily change indoor rooms to outdoors for a few seconds, allowing you to fly/etc.
A fierce ring of death - allows a player to challenge another player to a game of rock-paper-scissors.
A holographic greeting card - It will record a said message (via SAY (blah), includes the emotes/says too if possible - Shuyin smiles and says, "Lol" and Smirking, Shuyin says, "Lol") then delivers the message to the recipient. Can function like mail or just like regular delivery, whatever's possible
A toy monkey - Similar to the previous, but it sends one pre-existing emote to the recipient, but a monkey will do it. Ex: A toy monkey resembling Shuyin scampers in from the ether. A toy monkey resembling Shuyin raises his hand towards you and says, "Hi!". No custom emotes, that seems too much and it will just lead to ranged mudsex.
