Hey, how about a 'portable hole' artifact that you can use to hide yourself or dispose of items?
Why is it the first thought I had for this was road runner and the coyote?
Unknown2009-12-04 16:17:31
I was thinking partly D&D and partly Roger Rabbit, so yeah.

Lusternia reminds me of Twilight. How can it be that everybody on the forums seems to be rich, young and beautiful?
Ok well maybe I'm slightly exaggerating here but I swear that most of the player base is in their early 20s and seem to have hundreds of dollars in spare change to spend on credits.

Heh, I'm a student, I spend all of my money on cigarettes, alcohol and loose women (well not the loose women part but eh). The credits I have at the moment come from the event they held with dingbats back in July/August. Right place, right time, made a killing.
The 400 credit assess artifact has some combat utility (would allow you to scan for wounds balance free in the same way wiccans/guardians use contemplate to check for mana kills) and I'd definitely buy it.

That's copying a skill. A worse version of the skill, but a skill nonetheless.

Faerie wings copy a lot of skills.
So does the pig snout.
Etc, etc.

Copying which skill?
I just want a way to see my targets wound states which requires balance but does not consume it, I don't even care if I can't see their health from it. Just wound states would be lovely. They could also use Dramatics Wounds to bypass its effectiveness.

Add an artifact that removes balance on assess so it only requires balance to assess but does not consume it. Similar to the artifact that removes balance loss on observe! Say 400 credits? I'd buy it!
Yes.... yes yes yes yes yes.

It seems Ixion would also buy it! Would be a nice seller amongst Knights whilst not being game breaking!

Deathmark, I can see all the wounds on the body without wasting balance.

Heh, hardly a copy of darkmark though, as DeathWeapon has the chance to give plague affs and DeathMark can improve on a number of Necromancy/Nihilism skills.

Yes, hence why I said it was a worse version.

This probably wont be allowed for the same reason being allowed to write on the go isn't, it's too easily abused and they wouldn't go for 'must be full health-not in combat' because they didn't for writing in the go, either.

That gives me an idea! How about the magic chisel is now able to tear down milestones?

And that can take down statues on a 4s balance, too (like Chop). None of this multiple-minute rubbish!
Unknown2009-12-17 04:24:36
Chisel of totem carving too, pls?

Meh. They already last a fraction as long as spores, and you already can only have one where you can have an unlimited number of spore destinations, and you already can't overlap lifespans to preserve the spot which you can with spores, and you already can only use it yourself where you can share spores, and you already can't put them in enemy areas where you can put spores in any forested area, and you already can see milestones but you can't see who has spores to a spot, and you already can't put them indoors while you can put spores indoors, and it already costs power to go to a milestone but not to snort spores, and going to milestones is already stopped by a lot more conditions than snorting spores is, and it already takes longer to go to milestones than it does to use spores. (Similar comparisons are available to other transport skills.) Leave the poor skill alone!
Unknown2009-12-17 13:32:31
Who else has a chisel besides me, anyway?
Esano2009-12-17 13:38:21
What I got from that, Lendren, is that spores are OP.
Damn forests.
Damn forests.

SUCCOR WOUNDS from Healing. Without working remotely, obviously.
