Being able to have two sets of splendours would be quite an upgrade to them, since you could get one set specialized on cutting and another for blunt damage.
Hmm, fair point. Might justify the cost being in credits, though. How about one that just lets me change the description back and forth on one set?
Meh, moot point. I designed a reversible set. So it's not significantly different from my omnipresent annoyance that all these wonderful options for interesting outfits are rendered moot by the fact that you always have to be wearing the same outfit anyway because it's always a few minutes before the next raid. (I wish they'd made it so what is currently done by greatrobes or splendours was done by something you added to another outfit, instead of the outfit itself.)

A pair of splendors were made the other day that were something like 45/86.
That's why I would object to this.
Of course, flagging an entire outfit as splendors (like what they've done with Fullplate) is a different matter.

With the ongoing explosion of tradeskill participants, this would be a really great time to do an artiesale on manse tradeskill arties like home forges, workbenches, pentagrams, etc. Or to re-evaluate the prices generally!

Rune of the Hamhadi -
Halves Healing burnout time.
Healing expends less ego than usual.
Does not stack with similar runes.

Well, there is already an artifact that makes ego costs less (20%, I think?), and the Great Rune of Mind Shielding should take care of the burnout.
Esano2010-04-27 00:30:36
The ego rune is a limited-edition auction artifact. I believe there are two or three in existence.
Shaddus2010-04-27 01:30:10
A rune for baskets like the cube/keg ones. It makes a basket hold twice as much, makes the basket nondecay (of course), and makes food inside not decay.

Seconded.
Lendren2010-04-27 01:45:34
While you're at it, make it do the same thing for jewelryboxes (the same way one rune works for kegs or cubes). Of course, on a basket it'd only preserve food, and on a jewelrybox only jewelry.

Fillin has one. I have one. I think that's it. Still, they do exist!

Bag of Poop (25cr): Once a game day, you can use a tinderbox to LIGHT BAG and then throw it somewhere. A few minutes later, everyone in that area will get an ambience message about the awful smell, and will continue to get them periodically until someone STOMPs on it. Maybe, to give the item more justification to exist, it also immediately skunks the room it lands in. No other effect.
I wouldn't buy it, but I wonder some days if it wouldn't be Lusternia's best-selling artifact.

Quillion Jones' Nature Guide, Vol I - READing this marvelous guide book will enable you to identify the prints and tracks in an area, much like a tracker! Unfortunately, since it was written for the very young, most will only find it useful once a day or so.
Quillion Jones' Nature Guide, Vol II - This interesting book contains all the information you need for basic tracking, allowing you to TRACK denizens! Unfortunately, as tracking is an inherently complex art, once you start tracking a creature, attempting to track another in a short timespan is likely to just end up getting you lost. (Returns the room number for one creature. Using it twice within an hour instead returns a random room number in the area)

As much as I would love to make mob or item tracking available to more guilds, that's one of the few meaningful perks of Tracking. I'd feel bad for Trackers.

Gnomish Raygun.
Ameryth2010-05-02 09:18:29
Eloquent.
I'd like to see minor charms or stones that reduce damage done by a particular kind of mob. Perhaps each mob has its own stone, or perhaps each stone must be set to a mob, and that setting can be limited, in both what it may be set to, and how often it can be reset (if any).
Also, perhaps an artifact of some kind that summons a Fae? Random, maybe. Or an artifact for each Fae? Definitely limited though. Very limited. Like, once a year.
Also also.
Panpipes for bards. They count as instruments, but can be imbued with effects or enchantments over several slots. One for each pipe. In addition to using the pipe as a normal instrument, the wielder may blow a particular pipe for the desired effect. Each pipe I guess, should need re-enchanting, and maybe the cost for the pipes should be increased?

I believe it's a rule that any instrument must allow the user to sing at the same time as playing, so no wind instruments.
Personally I'd like to see bells or something, just because why not?

Between the many dingbat artifacts that duplicate parts of Hunting and Tracking, and several other elements coming from Environment/Beastmastery, I have to agree.

The Bubble of Go Back (25cr)
- BREAK BUBBLE to activate
- One time use artifact, lasts for 24 hours
- Reverts you level back to 5 for the duration
I don't know, because of the achievements put in for finks and gnomes, and also the quests, I would really like something that could let me go back to newton for at least a little while. I know there are other places to kill finks and gnomes but they are a pain in the butt to get to, harder to kill and i think killing gnomes gets you an enemy status, I could be wrong as I have never tried it. But also having the opportunity to get the quests that I didn't even know about.. 5 years ago? Yeah.

I'd prefer it if it gave you a sort of grace of innocence type effect, so you couldn't mess about and kill novices whilst in newtons but you could renounce it and help your faction in the event of a raid/event, would let you help but rob you of the chance to do the quests/achievements if you hadn't done them already.
Or, alternately, just have another command to just remove the effect of being level five before the timer ends.
