You'd be surprised -- at the time, everyone was saying the second tradeskill slot one was worth more. I chose not to disagree out loud, so as not to drive the price up more.

(For clarification purposes, you can still only skillflex as often as without it. It just doesn't cost 50 lessons each. I am pretty sure I have broken even by now, or if not, I'm awfully close. I lost count a while back. But I skillflex almost every weave.)

Ah. I can see how it would be useful, especially for a Demi* with two trade skills, or for a Warrior who wants to flex Tracking/Rituals.

Or for those of us non-demis who want to keep multiple tradeskills!

The Endowment of the Arts does stack with the SecondTradeskill power... and, I really, really wants one.

How much interest would there be for an artifact that allows the owner access to a single domoth's supernumerary powers?

EDIT for clarification: Meaning that a demigod would be allowed to purchase, for instance, the Breath of Life ability, but nothing from one of the other areas. This would not be a free power artie, nor would it increase the amount of Supernumerary points available, just unlocks a domoth, so to speak.

Lets you WATER PLANTS to enhance their growth (takes balance-- a bit more than nature growth). In addition, if anybody attempts to harvest below ten plants in a room that's been watered, the water will take the form of a miniature gnome and beat back said herbalist's fingers.

No, the artifact should be a garden gnome. It'll protect the herbs from being overharvested, and when no one's looking, call for the dew gnomes to tend to the plants. Maybe you get a set of five gnomes, which will remain in place for x period of time and then reset to you.

Nifty idea! Either would be awesome, but just have -something- that protects herbs.

I feel like it completely depends on what you're going for. If you want constant and permanent access to all the abilities, Endowment is worth far more. If you don't need constant access but are just willing to switch as-needed (essentially you're just switching for the ability to create stuff), then the Cords are better.

Just looking at them from that standpoint, however, I feel it's pretty clear why Endowments went for so much more. For example, I'm on the verge of buying a fourth active tradeskill to have all at once... though I've not actually decided whether I want to, or just keep Bookbinding as a temporary skill to use when I need it.

I want my tradeskill slot too, but I still need my essence refund.

I hope they didn't forget about it. ._.

I'd be happy with being able to buy either an endowment or a cord, not picky over which.
