Jackie Chan Adventures, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Rugrats, Doug, AH! Real Monsters!, Gumbi, Inspector Gadget, Gargoyles, Batman (Original and Batman Beyond ftw), Beast Wars, Transformers (the ones with the little mini-bots was awesomest), Street Sharks, Powerpuff Girls, Hey Arnold, Adventures of the Hidden Temple, Double Dare, Thundercats, He-Man, Animorphs, Are You Afraid Of The Dark, CatDog, Clarissa Explains It All, Figure It Out, Kenan and Kel, Rocket Power, Power Rangers, Yugio, The Wild Thornberrys, Bill Nye the Science Guy, Krat Brothers, Dragon Ball Z (guilty pleasure), Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist, Inuyasha, Astro Boy, Outlaw Star, Trigun, The Fairly Odd Parents, Drake and Josh, Invader Zim (according to Wikipedia, IT'S COMING BACK 7/11!!!!!!), Ace Ventura, As Told By Ginger, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Butt-Ugly Martians, Danny Phantom, Oh Yeah! Cartoons, Charlie Brown, and Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide.

Man... 75% of those were just from memory. Wikipedia sure brings back the memories!

Nickelodeon went down the toilet after the Spongebob movie, didn't it? And nothing on Cartoon Network is really noteworthy to mention either... I wish that they would bring back Toonami. There were some freakin' amazing shows on there!

Quite a few of there aren't even cartoons. I must confirm the Invader Zim rumour, Want to the the Avatar movie(not the racist one) and it's Yu-gi-oh. More to come when I decide to take the time.

I have to be afraid it won't be as good though.

Voltron.

The lion one, not the vehicle one.

The vehicles able to form larger vehicles is sort of cool, I guess, but the whole idea just seemed logistically unwieldy. There were, like 50 guys who made up that Voltron.

"WHERE'S MY LEFT ELBOW?"

"Sorry, sir, Hans had the flu."

For other completely pointless topics I've thought way too much about, tune in to my podcasts.

This. Absolutely All Of This.

I was actually thinking as I read the thread that I would have to say Voltron, and then make sure nobody thought I meant the overcomplicated vehicular monstrosity masquerading as Voltron.

I had the metal lions that all connected and came with a zillion plastic caltrops for when your parents hadn't had their coffee yet...

So many good cartoons (And to spot my favorite all I have to say is 'Narf') from when the WB and Nick were... well... good. Though I miss the old Toonami blocks the most, especially the cheesy (but very awesome) Big O (Batman meets Giant Robots).

Autobots? Anyone?
Jinx2010-06-24 10:13:08
Who doesn't like Optimus Prime, or Grimlock? I must admit to liking Soundwave and Shockwave on the Decepticon side though.

Oh, does anyone remember the poor man's transformers, Go-Bots?

I went through a huge Go-Bots period. Even through those weird rock gobot things... I did the Transformers thing too. And also everything Zarquan listed is pretty much on my list.

Adult swim before it got full of itself and loaded down with family guy repeats.

Like, back when it was Brak show, ATHF, Sealab 2021, Space Ghost, and then Cowboy Bebop. That was so much edgier and cool than "oh look, another brain deadening Family guy marathon. And live action shows that are so bad I'd rather watch static."

But FMA: Brotherhood is hands down the greatest thing ever broadcast. So that makes up for some of the crap.
Shiri2010-06-24 16:08:47
Too bad it's ending soon, but it's had a good run and it's better than going on forever like some other shounen properties I could mention (but won't cause I haven't watched them in years...)
Jinx2010-06-24 21:50:28
I don't think I saw either of these mentioned. Am I the only one who remembers Exo-Squad and the Galaxy Rangers?
Kaalak2010-06-24 21:56:40
Batman: The Animated Series is timeless and brilliant.

Also Animaniacs should have never gone off the air.
Unknown2010-07-08 01:19:16
Did no one watch Galaxy High? Or Galaxy Rangers? Or Jem? I am disappointed.

I KNOW you all watched the show the character in my avatar was in, so I won't even ask.

Oh, and Muppet Babies. And, Swat Kats.

Oh look an excuse to dig out this image!

Teehee.

OMG! Lots of things that have already been mentioned, plus Super Ted and Blinky Bill!

In fact, check out the opening themes of these. Super Ted makes the least sense to me now of any show I watched as a child, and Blinky Bill has got to be the longest children's show intro ever!
Shiri2010-07-10 09:35:36
Oh, you had Superted? I had a couple of videos of those when I was a little kid (part of my family is Welsh.) Bubbling blacmange! Naturally, I thought that was a made-up word.
Okin2010-07-10 10:21:23
That we did. I think we got a lot of British kids television. Super Ted was so anti-American! The main villain was a cowboy! It was awesome.

I watched Jem! I used to love that show.
