I was under the impression that Lusternia had always been more sci-fi than fantasy. Aetherships and aetherspace (manses are holodecks!), Magnagora, Hallifax, Xion, the asylum and tainted broadcast center, all the scientists, observatories and 'magical tech', so on, so forth. Plus, the histories as pertains to all of the cities' involvement is all about wacky planar science and what have you, and the entire Soulless bit is ripped right from the cold, dead hands of H.P. Lovecraft. At its heart, Lusternia always was sci-fi.
