Right now in the geomancers of some M city, heheh. I'm just testing out the class see how I like it. As i learn more and more I might go back and make a new character and try something new.

I want to know who you are. ><
Aubrey2010-07-02 20:22:22
Mm. Take back most of what I said. Particularly about the players.
Razenth2010-07-02 20:29:34
Lulz. Yeah, the world is all shiny and awesome until you start paying attention to it (whether because you're in a position of power and are forced to deal with it or you just open up your thirdeye) and then you realize it's not as awesome as you thought it was.
Noola2010-07-02 20:32:42
I think it is. dunno.gif
Llesvelt2010-07-02 20:34:25
To be honest, I think most of the playerbase here is really awesome, barring a few people I do not like, personally, but we all have people like that.

It is certainly better than most MUDs I have tried, I must say < _ <
Shamarah2010-07-02 20:43:23
The playerbase is fine, people are just too sensitive about their e-feelings being hurt sometimes.
Aubrey2010-07-02 20:49:55
It's still better than the other IRE games, and the game mechanics of non-IRE games bore me to death, so it's the least of all evils I guess, but the cliqueism is just atrocious.
Razenth2010-07-02 20:54:17
At least we have Noola, but even then, her cheerfulness only pervades the forums. I have not seen Noolaness IG yet.
Aubrey2010-07-02 20:57:28
Noola's hopelessly and endearingly naive. I hope reality never smacks Noola in the face.

Noola's something like ten years older than you.

I can be uncheery! I've been uncheery today, in fact. happy.gif

Oh, and I don't consider myself naive at all. What I consider myself is, for the most part, is unwilling to dwell on problems. Obviously, I don't always succeed in this, but I do try. When faced with a problem or something happens that is frustrating or annoying, I just remember that I have a choice. I can let it bother me and tick me off and suck the fun out of what I'm doing OR I can not.

Most of the time, I choose to not let that happen. I think of ways that the unfun thing can be made fun. Cause that's the point of it all. Having fun.

Sometimes I fail at that, but I always try.

I always thought it was a bit naive to believe optimism is purely in the purview of naive people.

Unless my forum profile says my age (I honestly can't remember if it does), you wouldn't know how old I am. But age doesn't matter, really. Some adults are completely childish and rude, while some teenagers are mature and considerate. As far as being naive, it's more about what experiences one has had in their life, and some people go through a lot more crap early on, so they might be jaded at a younger age. Noola's right though, naive isn't quite the same as optimistic. And optimism, within reason, is a very good trait. Of course I was always told my hope for Serenwilde's future improving was foolish. *shrug*
Kante2010-07-02 21:41:03
I think Serenwilde would be better if you guys cracked down on the snuggling a bit. Let'em do it in private, sure, but nature isn't exactly full of cuddles. suspicious.gif

Have you seen squirrels?

Rabbits!

And don't forget Bambi.
Noola2010-07-02 21:57:38
And little tiny birds. wub.gif

Have you? Every time I see two squirrels together, they're beating the :censored: out of each other. The same goes with birds, they're always fighting over territory.
Unknown2010-07-02 22:07:38
Noola, you should totally join the Illuminati. They totally fit you. I mean, Paradigmatics is essentially the Adam Savage skillset. "I reject your reality and substitute my own."

And there's even a guild path all about just letting loose and finding Enlightenment however you want.
Aubrey2010-07-02 23:29:22
Heh yeah squirrels are always chasing each other around and chittering madly.

Aubrey doesn't like the excessive PDA or the disrespect of the kids, but that has given her the reputation of being "too stern" (which I find to be a compliment, coming from Serenwilde).

Sorry for derailing the thread.
