Hi!

I didn't know where else to post this, but this seems like the right place. This is my first time playing this game and actually committing to it, mostly because of the fabulous first impression of the players. My last attempt at playing was met with seemingly unmitigated silence, which is fairly disheartening even if I'm not a true noob to text games. However, now that I've been playing for several days, with a great group of friends, I've been helped out by friend and foe alike. I just wanted to extend my gratitude to those who have been so nice to my character, and stayed their weapons from killing her even when she didn't deserve it. I have to say that it's a rather refreshing change to get away from the bitterness and callous hatred that began plaguing the last game that I played. So here's to plenty of fun and many more good times! Thanks guys!

Always good to hear!

I guess I should increase cookie production, huh...

I've gotta echo this.

Much credit to Estarra for creating a fascinating world and designing it in a way that doesn't underestimate the intelligence of the players.

Don't take offense to my character Tynghall trying to kill you (suspicious.gif), and welcome to Lusternia! female.gif

Hey man, it happens, no hard feelings.

Best watch out when I'm able to defend myself, though! suspicious.gif

We need more of THIS kind of attitude!

But you'd better run for cover when the pup grows up
'cause he'll fight like twenty armies and he won't give up!

CODE
Give up your individuality and become a part of the Collective.

Through giving up on the ego, denying the Self to prosper.

You will be made more efficient.

No worries, no offense has been or will be taken. It was a fantastic interaction that I look forward to many more, but like Prav said: look out for when I can better defend myself tongue.gif .

EDIT: Bolded and edited for clarity. And I was definitely asking for it.

I also need to Third or fourth this. I am not sure where I stand on the agreement roster.

However that being said. I am very impressed with Lusternia. A great group of involved players, it has a positive attitude and a very low level of discouragment in following what you truly wish to do as you play. I have only been playing for about a week now but my impressions of everything are much to give kudos to.

I look forward to much more goings on within this world and am really excited to learn my skills better.

as for defending myself...once I figure out what the heck a demanse does and my clouds rain fury upon my enemies all will be right in the world...

Ill stick to killing wildcats and running like crazy from Cave-fishers for now

This pretty much never happens. Your mesne makes an Aquamense look like it's made of dynamite and bandaids. And they used to be the most defensive mesne in the game?

So instead you get to sit within your fortress in the sky and laugh as they attempt to bombard your walls... to no avail!

Being awesome at defense has its perks. Especially if you can be -just- annoying enough in a group that they can't just ignore you and kill the others first, necessarily.

Way to crush my little crystalline cloud dreams. crying.gif

I really enjoy the class though it seems really neat. I will enjoy it whatever it is I do...
I have ALOT to learn before I even consider combat really. I am enjoying the variety of quests and the uniqueness of the world for now.

Trade skills are really cool too. I am just awed over the amount of time and thought put into things here.

Any of you ever saw that movie "Twister"?

Now, that is destructive.
