Breathing in athletics gives asphyx DMP(from what I'm told), nightkiss is 24DMP, so that'd be like 900 damage then instead of 710? still a far cry from 2k

and no, no attunement, because yes that would be bad form. The damage definitely scales up as wounds are built up on the head (something like 3k at crit wounds), so that'd be my best guess

I hesitate to ask, but did you forget to wear a helm by chance? Also, TF or no? Hidden sensitivity may or may not be an issue as well.

What's the blunt on the helmet? Think oothai's all asphix, and kick's blunt. Other than that, I've got no clue. It does not do half this much damage on most of the people I test with.

I'm actually rather pleased. Half the reason I went tae'dae monk was to rip off peoples' heads with my bare hands.

Helm was 91/90 (of latest post, 3rd/4th attacks hit this helm). I tried a second helm just for giggles, that helm was 89/75 (of my latest test post, first 2 attacks on this helm)

Edit: can't blame you for being pleased.. I was rather happy with my retarded damage when I had it too, about 20 warriors or other nerfs ago.

I find that most people writhe out of the hold before the choking sustain can ever hit. Didn't realize the sustain hurt that much, though. Interesting.

Nothing is buggy that I see. Yes prone does indeed add some damage. Prone is one of the easiest things to achieve in Lusternia, so that's rather trival. This should not be possible on command for 0 power. I'm thinking it scales massively too much with higher strength. Like all major outliers, it needs to be adjusted point blank.

Meh, dunno. The damage does seem high, but I don't get why this hasn't been seen before and why Sidd's test is so wildly different.

Prone affliction for an attack is applied before the damage is calculated. The grapple prones first then applies its damage so would always be at +50%. I'd never seen this cause massive damage before because hold/grapple do 0 damage and choke/bairak do ~50.

Still would like to see what happens when you're standing before the grapple/kick hits.
