You get your next months worth 30/31 days after your first purchase. So if you sign up on the 15th of October your next month would start the 15th of November.

Ah, nifty, thanks!

What happens if you die when a power outage occurs? Will you be dead until you next sign on, and continually losing exp? :eep:
Lendren2010-10-29 19:48:52
This is one of the reasons why you should set your TIMEOUT as low as you can stand: that limits how long you'll be losing experience in that situation before you time out and disconnect.

I see. I'm guessing when you sign back in you'll still be dead and losing experience?
Vadi2010-10-29 20:21:48
Well yes. It's real easy to 'simulate' a power outage just by pulling the plug on your internet connection.

The system can disconnect you when it believes you're link dead, but a timeout is your best bet.

From my experience, when it doesn't disconnect you is the times you most need to be disconnected.

The only time the system has disconnected me from my experience is when I'm in character creation.

I know it does. I'm just so wishy washy on races that the system hates me sad.gif

Is there any difference towards using POINT STAFF target ETHER as opposed to just POINT STAFF target?

POINT STAFF is exactly the same except for the way it looks.

Also it lets you hit yourself which is funny so I've never bugged it.

Do the cloak/gloves that hide clothing/prestige have any notable benefit while influencing? At a glance, I was thinking they'd be super useful, but further analysis has lead me to believe they're pretty much not. For example, if one uses them for charity influence, then any negative prestige is hidden and the prestige of the gloves/cloak (if any) would count against the influencing. If they don't have any prestige values of their own, then I guess it'd be somewhat convenient for charity if you didn't have anything negative you'd be covering, but then it's entirely useless for empowering, seduction, &c. If they -do- have their own prestige, I suppose they could be useful for those if they can bring you to max, but then there's no point if you do a lot of charity influencing.

So, after rambling: cloak of shifting hues/gloves of concealment: are they of any real use for anything?

They are useful for changing your description from: "He is wearing (desc of all 10 of your rings), (descs of all of your clothing)." to "He is wearing gloves and a cloak." So really just hides what you are wearing.

Ah. Thank you.

What's the general rate for dingbats -> credits?

Also, GoodLuck in Paradigmatics, or almost Splendor in Tailoring?

1.5:1

GoodLuck = level 1 crit rune. Decide yourself.

Don't forget, it stacks with a crit rune too.
