What's the difference between the Lovers Tarot and Lust Tarot?

Heh, I was considering between Hexes and Tarot since I'll Trans my second (yay!) guildskill by the end of this month.

I thought Lust/Lovers would do something awesome, but heh, doesn't seem like it.

Currently, all that I see in Tarot is Aeon and Soulless. But utility-wise, it has Catacombs!

Hexes on the other hand has all the awesome afflictions (asthma, anorexia, stupidity, vapours), afflictions that work well with Illuminati (scabies and epilepsy) and Jinx! But, zero utility and boo at having to rely on Illuminate as only way to kill.

Also, web and hangedman will stack. Web is generic Entangle-category, Hangedman is a more specific, stacking Ropes-category, similar to truss. So if you're a tarot user working alongside ... anyone, really, you want to use Hangedman.

Lust exists as a rescue mechanic. Just lust someone, trigger their calling 'Empress.' on Channel XYZ to outd empress;fling empress at target. Bam.

Don't discard everything about Tarot. Princess is a last-ditch supergreen, Lust has its uses, Lovers is one of the few ways to actively stop a chasm. Ruin is one of your sure-fire ways to set up a retarded killroom of death. (Flux/Enthrall/Carcer/Rubble = lol) Starleaper might be ok still despite nerfs. Hermit is an awesome travel utility.

Soulless, though, is probably the best instakill in the game. Very, very little stops it.

Death and forced movement, afaik. (Plus standard 'do anything' restrictions)

And even the latter is spotty on occasions - the soulless-flinger can just walk back into the room and if the victim is still there they can still get smacked by it.

Edit: I messed that up. If A gusts Soulless-casting B into another room and A moves into B's room, A will die.

This is due largely to the lack of checks in a Soulless cast - there's one. The death one. Which is stopped by nothing. Compare to other instakills: decap has 2 (3?) checks, which most people know as the gradual messages and your system screaming at you to RUN AWAY. If the victim is not present when that check is carried out, the instakill stops. Same with Bard instakills and earwort. Since Soulless only has one, it's pretty much final.

So, mechanically, Soulless is one of the 'strongest' instakills. Not as easy to use because you can't just pull it out of your bum in the middle of a fight (Bard/Decap/Judge) but it's harder to avoid or slip around.

Is there any way to mix a Master Palette, and is there any way to get applications of paint from one palette to another?

Is it considered alright to reproduce designs from a really fabulous cartel that's been inactive for years? There's basically no one in it who could make the design (not to mention inactive and forever unreachable) and the owner himself is beyond gone. Would I have to re-submit those with major changes to get them approved? I don't believe the reviewers or the Charites would even catch it but I'm curious about the basic concept here. The design is really so perfect that I can't even think of anything to change. And it's only really needed for one remake (is a table), not profit, and I'm fairly sure the owner wouldn't mind.

Under what circumstances should I tumble and when should I use stealth evade? Are there any conditions not covered in the previous two where psymet shift would be preferable?

If they're your own designs, maybe. Otherwise, I don't think so.
